You cannot walk in the authority of the position God has placed you in while choosing to live in passivity.
The call of God requires boldness. It requires courage. Why? Because when God entrusts you with authority, He also entrusts you with the responsibility of upholding His standard.
And there will be moments where that standard is challenged. Moments where compromise looks easier. Moments where silence feels more comfortable. Moments where your emotions will try to lead you somewhere your obedience cannot follow.
Sometimes obedience will require you to speak up. Sometimes it will require difficult decisions. Sometimes it will require sober-minded judgment even when your feelings disagree. Sometimes it will require you to be set apart and go against the grain because God gave you instructions.
Passivity may feel peaceful in the moment, but it often produces destruction over time. God holds accountable those whom He has entrusted with authority.
Whether in your home, your marriage, your ministry, your workplace, or your personal life, you cannot afford to abandon responsibility in the name of comfort.
Authority is not just a privilege. It is stewardship. And stewardship requires action.
