You were born with something priceless. Do not trade it away for something temporary.
This week in week three of our Self-Sabotage series, we looked at the story of Esau in Genesis 25:27-34 — a man who surrendered his entire inheritance for a single bowl of stew. Sound familiar? Every time we say yes to fear, lust, or temporary comfort, we risk forfeiting the birthright God has already placed in our hands.
The blood of Jesus is not a small thing. It cost him everything. You are a king and a priest, a joint heir with Christ, called to walk in power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Do not despise what God has spoken over your life just because you have not seen it yet.
His word still chooses you even when you do not choose yourself. Come back. Receive what is yours.
