School is almost out, and you can already hear it coming... "Mom, I'm booored."

Before those long summer days set in, we want to put something joyful on your radar. VBS season is here, and our partner churches all across Carver County are throwing open their doors for a week of songs, games, crafts, way too many snacks, and stories that stick with kids long after the last day of summer.

Vacation Bible School is one of our favorite pictures of the Church in action. It is neighbors loving the next generation, welcoming every child who walks through the door, and reminding families that they belong here.

Jesus put it simply: "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these" (Matthew 19:14).

So if you are already wondering how to fill those summer weeks, here is a fun, faith-filled answer. Spots fill up fast, so now is the perfect time to look ahead and get your kids signed up. Lucas Schrupp rallied a team of 30+ servants to complete his Eagle Scout project at our church! Leveraging his connections, he led the team to redo our worship/gathering/fire-pit to be a place to gather and meet Jesus in an inviting space. Way to go Lucas! Your efforts will impact so many people for years to come!
