Husbands, you are the shepherd of your wife, the head of your home, and the leader God has called to strengthen her spiritual life. You cannot fulfill your calling if you don’t study her and know her (1 Peter 3:7).

But getting a Ph.D in knowing your wife is not going to happen if you’re passive or lazy. You must be intentional, and unwavering. You are called to be the scholar in residence at home and God has given you the tools to accomplish your calling.

Hey Shepherd’s House family! We hope you enjoyed a wonderful Labor Day weekend. Here’s the Sunday recap 📸:

▫️We sang songs of praise and worship to our God! (It Was Finished Upon That Cross - In Christ Alone - Is He Worthy)

▫️Pastor Costi W. Hinn continued in a new series “Til Death Do Us Part” with a sermon titled “Husbands Die First”(Philippians 2:3-8).

Our culture has thoroughly confused masculinity and is either misdirecting manhood or emasculating men altogether. Some men are domineering, while others disappear. Some use their leadership as a license for selfishness, while others pretend their passivity is “humility.” The Word of God speaks to all of this!

▫️Lastly, we had our corporate prayer meeting where we gathered together to pray for our pastors, ministries, and entire church body.

What a way to kick off the fall semester of our college and young adult ministry! 🙌

Last night was such a sweet night of worship, fellowship, and study of God’s Word at The Fold. We’re so grateful for every person who walked through the doors and got to be a part of our launch night!

And we’re just getting started. 🤝

We can’t wait to see you all again next Thursday at 7PM! (Doors open at 6:50)

Our favorite day of the week! Here’s the Sunday recap 📸:

▫️We sang songs of praise and worship to our God! (No King Like Jesus - Come To The Lord)

▫️Pastor Costi W. Hinn started a new series “Til Death Do Us Part” with a sermon titled “Marriage is Covenant, Not a Contract” (Genesis 2:18-25). Check out the sermon on our YouTube channel or wherever you listen to podcasts.

▫️ We closed by taking communion together, singing How Great Thou Art, and the Doxology!

▫️Lastly, we kicked off our Fall Shepherd’s Group sign-ups! Join us in praying that the Lord would use these groups to foster genuine fellowship, discipleship, accountability, and spiritual growth throughout our church family.

We value this meeting for more than just the ministry highlights. It’s an opportunity for our church family to unify on goals, financial accountability, faithfulness, and the direction of the church. Shepherd’s House is “elder led, but congregationally informed” as Costi W. Hinn often says. We don’t make decisions on buildings or budgets without communicating with the congregation, nor do we set goals without inviting them to participate and pray.

If you’re looking for church that is focused on shepherding and discipleship without ever losing a vision for the lost, join us!

Hey college students + young adults! The Fold is kicking back off Thursday, September 3rd, and there’s a place for you here.

The Fold exists for young adults ages 18–25 to grow into biblically-defined church men and women in the body of Christ at Shepherd’s House Bible Church, to be edified, equipped, and sent out to evangelize.

Whether you’ve been part of The Fold before or you’re walking in for the very first time, there’s a place for you in The Fold.

Week 1: “Marriage is a Covenant, Not a Contract” (Genesis 2:18-25)
