Words fall short when trying to capture the depth of sorrow that we feel toward the events that have transpired this week. And in times of shocking darkness we experience a sense of hopelessness, leaving us only to offer a visceral utterance from our soul.
Jesus, we cry out for You.
Our hope is found in You alone, and we declare that we need Your saving grace more than ever. We lean on Your Word that reminds us that You are close to us, the brokenhearted. Jesus, Light of the world, shatter the darkness and rescue all who are crushed in spirit.
