Due to today's heat warning, the Awana kickoff and community gathering at First Baptist Church in Chancellor has been postponed to Sunday, September 8 from 4 to 6pm. All are welcome to join us for food, games, and fellowship. There will be information on our Awana program as well which starts September 11.

First Baptist Church in Chancellor will be hosting a community gathering and Awana kick off on Sunday, August 25 from 4 to 6pm. All are welcome to join us for food, games, and fellowship. There will be information available for anyone interested in registering for our Awana program which starts September 11th. Awana is Wednesdays from 630 to 8pm. A light supper is served from 6 to 630pm and open to all participants and volunteers. Feel free to reach out with any questions.

We made 70 bags to give to the Centerville police, Lennox police, turner county sheriffs office and Lincoln county sheriffs offices. We filled the bags with goodies and the kids decorated the bags with stickers and thankful words.

This Wednesday we will be making “Thank you” bags for law enforement officers in our area. If you would like to send a bag of candy with your child we can add to the bags. We are making 70 bags!
