As we journey together into the summer season, we also enter a broader time of discovery—fitting for where we are as a congregation in this interim and transitional time. In that spirit, our summer worship and reflection will focus on Discovering the Psalms. Each week we'll spend time with one of these ancient songs—poems of lament and praise, doubt and trust, fear and fierce hope—and let them speak to where we actually are right now.
We begin with Psalm 46, one of the most beloved: “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.” The reflection, Ordinary Faith, explores what it means to live from God’s kind of ordinary—a steadier, deeper reality underneath the noise and tumult of our days. This Sunday we also gather at the Lord’s Table. We’ll receive bread and cup together in our circle, as ordinary people held by an extraordinary grace.
Worship begins at 10:30 a.m. in the sanctuary and on livestream. Wherever you are this week—however ordinary or overwhelming your days may have been—there is a place for you here.
