A few weeks ago I was frustrated and impatient about our lack of growth in the Spring, particularly heading into a college town summer. We’ve now had multiple first time guests for four weeks in a row, and most of those guests have returned. We’re very thankful!

We’ve been on a good run recently of being able to set up on Saturday afternoon but that run came to an end this weekend. I was filled with gratitude as our volunteers came early and stayed late to make sure we had a great time of worship at Bridge Church today. It was a good day at Bridge Church yesterday. Mark Headrick from Harvest Child Care Ministries was with us and Pastor Jeremy led our Hope Initiative kick off.

Would you pray for us this week? This Sunday is ‘we love our church Sunday.’ To be honest we’ve not had the bump attendance we were hoping for in January, (mostly due to flu and the sub zero temperatures, winter in Illinois is hard!) so we’re trusting God for big things this Sunday.
