The new sign for Clary Cemetery! The cost is a gift from Restoration Services.

Today with the help of the Linn Post of VFW, we had a successful work day at Clary Cemetery. One of the projects completed, under the guidance of David Jindrich with Restoration Services, was the placement of the replacement stones for four Civil War Veterans, Christian Wehmeyer, Gustave Spaete, John Straub, and William Atkinson. The stones are no cost from the VA and we applied for others that were denied due to technicalities.
Other projects worked on include removing brush from the fence, w**d eating the fence, and covering some bunkers with dirt.
A huge project completed was the removal of the concrete from the Rommel Family plot -- watch for another post dedicated to that project.
