An update from Lauren & Martin Polok in Prague, Czech Republic concerning the humanitarian crisis in Ukraine!

Hello Friends, I just want to bring you an update from Lauren and Martin Polok in Prague, Czech Republic. As many of you know, Lauren grew up at CLC and joined the YoungLife Organization as a young adult. When she obtained her ESL degree, Lauren left for the Czech Republic to become a missionary and an English teacher.
Lauren met Martin Polok, a Czech native, through their joint outreach and leadership work with YoungLife. They married a few years ago and have a beautiful daughter, Olivia.
They now are expecting twin boys in April and Lauren will be delivering the boys via c-section, between 36-38 weeks term.
Here are prayer requests specifically from Lauren.
"Just a few areas where we would WELCOME YOUR PRAYERS! For continued health for the babies and me! For all the details surrounding delivery and for Martin as he’ll be with Oli more when that time comes! For this next month— for energy and peace and the ability to accept help (and ask for help when we need it)! For Martin also as he continues full time in planning camps for the summer, participating in events for Young Life and WyldLife and maintaining relationships with leaders, students and key adults in the community!"

The Missions Team is selling Krispy Kreme donuts and coffee for Fastnacht Day! There is a sign-up sheet at church in the foyer or you can contact a member of the team directly to place your order. All proceeds will benefit the El Faro Boys Home Construction Project. The orders and money are due by Feb. 20th and delivery will be on Feb. 27th at the church between 4pm -6pm. Place your order today for those you love! Make your checks payable to Christian Life Church and indicate " Mission-Donuts" or you can pay online and indicate "Mission-Donuts". We appreciate your support!

Our Annual COLD WEATHER OUTREACH is underway this month as we collect winter hats, gloves, scarves and socks to assemble in zip lock bags in early February to distribute to our local ministry partners who will put these into the hands of those in need in our community this winter.
Drop all donated items off at Christian Life Church in the designated bin in the church foyer. Handmade items are exceptionally nice! Last year we gave out 104 winter packs to those in need!

Decide what donation amount you wish to give and choose the way you give - an offering envelope, online, through the Church Center App or via the kiosk in the lobby.
