1 Corinthians 2:12–14 Jesus Teaches Us Truth Through His Spirit

12 We have not received the spirit of the world but the Spirit Who is from God, that we may understand what God has freely given us.

13 This is what we speak, not in words taught us by human wisdom but in words taught by the Spirit, expressing spiritual truths in spiritual words.

14 The man without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him, and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually discerned.

We do not have the spirit of the world but from God. So that when we learn from God’s Spirit we are able to discern between the world’s way of thinking and God’s way of thinking. We are able to see what God has given us and reject the world’s interpretation. Spiritual truth is foolishness to those without the Spirit.

That is what we learn from Scripture; Not human wisdom but God’s wisdom taught by His Spirit. The Word of God and the Spirit of God speak to us about Jesus and shows us how the truth of the Gospel applies to our lives. People without the Spirit of God think the things of God are foolish, they cannot understand them because they are understood only by the Spirit of God.

Father in Heaven teach us to hear Your Spirit and discern between the lies of the world and the truth of Your Word taught by the Spirit. Teach us to listen to Your Spirit, prompting us so that we might overcome the world in victory. We need Your Spirit to teach our hearts and minds to hear You speak and transform us. We ask You LORD to teach us in Jesus’ Name by the Spirit of truth. Amen

We Are In Jesus Because of The Father
Friday, September 11, 2026

1 Corinthians 1:26–30 We Are In Jesus Because of The Father

26 Brothers, think of what you were when you were called. Not many of you were wise by human standards; not many were influential; not many were of noble birth.

27 But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong.

28 He chose the lowly things of this world and the despised things—and the things that are not—to nullify the things that are, 29 so that no one may boast before Him.

30 It is because of Him that you are in Christ Jesus, who has become for us wisdom from God—that is, our righteousness, holiness and redemption.

The World always does everything backwards. The spirit of the world always looks at the outside and not at the heart. It puffs up the status of an individual, how strong they are, how rich they are, how many degrees they have. But God chose those things that the world ignores and looks to the real value of people seeking to do what is right, good and honoring to God. People set apart for God.

God is not impressed by the things the world is proud of, He looks and is pleased with the lowly things the normal caring and giving things of those who don’t stand out but stand up for what is right. It is Because of the Father that we are in Jesus, who is the wisdom of God. He is our everything.

Father in Heaven keep us from seeking those things that are not highly valued by You, help us remain a humble follower of Jesus and not seek the glory of the world. Help us grow in up in Your Wisdom and the knowledge of Jesus. We ask in the Name of the one who is Righteous, Holy and our deliverer, Jesus our Lord and Savior. Amen

Isaiah 11:1–3 In Jesus The Earth Will Know Righteousness

1 A shoot will come up from the stump of Jesse; from his roots a Branch will bear fruit.

2 The Spirit of the Lord will rest on Him— the Spirit of wisdom and of understanding, the Spirit of counsel and of power, the Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord—

3 and He will delight in the fear of the Lord. He will not judge by what he sees with His eyes or decide by what He hears with His ears;

4 but with righteousness He will judge the needy, with justice He will give decisions for the poor of the earth.

Jesus is and will be the judge of the whole earth. He will do it with complete knowledge and understanding of the situation and apply the necessary action. His wisdom is beyond ours. His understanding is precise and accurate. His knowledge will cause all things to be properly addressed. He will execute the will of God exactly as needed and appropriate. True justice will be applied.

The problem for us in receiving justice is that we are guilty and whatever justice we deserve should be applied to us. Jesus knows our weakness and has paid the price for our guilt. He has taken our punishment upon Him so that we might receive His Mercy and Grace. By believing in Jesus we will escape what we deserve and gain what we don’t deserve. That is what Jesus has done for us.

Father in Heaven in Your wisdom and Grace have provided justice and freed us to serve You. May we delight in Your wonderful and amazing Grace and find peace and grace in Your presence. We ask in the Name of the Jesus the judge of the whole earth who has done this for us. Amen

Leviticus 16:1–2 Jesus Is Our Atonement For Our Sin

The Day of Atonement Leviticus 16:1–32

1 The Lord spoke to Moses after the death of the two sons of Aaron who died when they approached the Lord.

2 The Lord said to Moses: “Tell your brother Aaron not to come whenever he chooses into the Most Holy Place behind the curtain in front of the atonement cover on the ark, or else he will die, because I appear in the cloud over the atonement cover.

During the Day of Atonement, the high priest took a series of rituals to address humanity’s overwhelming separation from God. The first step involved selecting a male cow and a male goat. After being presented before God, these animals were sacrificed, and their blood was carefully collected. The high priest then ventured deep into the sacred temple/tabernacle, carrying the blood of the sacrificed animals.

Reaching the Holy of Holies, the high priest sprinkled the blood on the ark’s mercy seat as a profound symbol of reconciliation and expiation, removing our guilt, and satisfying God’s wrath. The blood, representing the sacrificed life, covered the surface of the mercy seat, containing the Commandments within the ark which came from God. This was God teaching us about Jesus and His ultimate sacrifice once and for all.

The atonement of Jesus is the sacrificial act by which He reconciles us to God, offering forgiveness of sins, resurrection, and eternal life.

Father in Heaven thank you for Your faithfulness in providing for our real needs. Help us come before You with praise on our lips and thanksgiving in our hearts knowing You are a God of Mercy and Grace. We are able to come into Your presence through the Name of Jesus and one day look upon Your face. Amen

Romans 5:9–11 In Jesus We Are Reconciled To Be God’s Children

9 Since we have now been justified by the blood of Jesus, how much more shall we be saved from God’s wrath through Him!

10 For if, while we were God’s enemies, we were reconciled to Him through the death of His Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through His life!

11 Not only is this so, but we also boast in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received reconciliation.

Justified! That is, made right with God by our trust in Jesus. If we have been forgiven by God that means we will not face God’s wrath. Jesus delivered us from that outcome through the Cross. Reconciled! Our relationship with God is restored. Jesus keeps us from wrath and death and brings us into real life and a forever relationship with God.

Not only do we receive all these things from God through Jesus we can boast in our God. We can tell others how great He is and we can boast in all that God has given us. Forgiveness, Fellowship, Freedom and a Future in God. In all this we are amazed and awed by how much our God loves us and what He done for us.

Father in Heaven Your blessings are beyond compare, never let us be unthankful or ungrateful for what You have done for us. Give us a bold heart to declare to the World just how great our God is. We ask for Your Strength to live for You in The Name of Jesus, Savior of the world. Amen

Jesus Calls Us To Be Strong and Courageous
Saturday, September 5, 2026

Joshua 1:7–9 Jesus Calls Us To Be Strong and Courageous

7 “Be strong and very courageous. Be careful to obey all the law my servant Moses gave you; do not turn from it to the right or to the left, that you may be successful wherever you go.

8 Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.

9 Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”

This is the History of Hebrews as they started to follow Joshua after the death of Moses. He was commanded to be courageous and to be care to obey all that God has said. We too, if we want success, do not turn away from the teachings of the Word of God. We are to keep the LORD’S Words on our lips and to study it meaning so that we will be careful to do what is written. In its pages we will learn about Jesus.

To those who commit themselves to God and to learning His Word and living by His Word God promises to be with us. Be strong and have courage. To have the mental and moral strength to stand against danger, fear, or difficulties so that we might remain faithful to our God. The Lord Our God “will” be with you. That is the promise we have as we face life’s unknown adventure. It is all ours in Jesus

Father in Heaven strengthen us that we might have the courage to stand for what is right and remain faithful in our commitment to You. To keep learning and trusting You no matter what we face. Knowing You will be with us in every and any circumstance. Help us stand before You in Jesus’ Name and in His Word by the Power of The Holy Spirit of God. Amen

May Jesus Give Us An Attitude Adustment
Friday, September 4, 2026

Romans 15:5–7 May Jesus Gives Us An Attitude Adjustment

5 May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you the same attitude of mind toward each other that Christ Jesus had,

6 so that with one mind and one voice you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.

7 Accept one another, then, just as Christ accepted you, in order to bring praise to God.

We are attempting to learn attitudes that reflect the Lord Jesus’ way of treating others while He was on earth. We are learning to have steadfast patience and endurance. We are in life for the long haul and we cannot do it Jesus’ way with our minds focused on who wronged me and what I didn’t get. God is working in us to give God the Glory together.

Everyone who belongs to Jesus is in this together to have one main thought; to bring glory to the Father and the Son. We do it through God’s strength in our lives. We know God is with just and that Jesus embraces and accepted us. This is what pleases God when we work together for Him

Father in Heaven our attitude is in need of Your Spiritual support and guidance to aid us in learning and living with a Jesus attitude within us. Give us the endurance to steadfastly apply ourselves to following Your Spirit and adjusting our attitude in what we do. Teach us to be accepting of one another even when we aren’t doing so good at it. Help us endure to the end in Jesus Name and bring You Glory. Amen

Romans 4:1–3 In Jesus We Are Credited As Accepted

1 What then shall we say that Abraham, our forefather according to the flesh, discovered in this matter?

2 If, in fact, Abraham was justified by works, he had something to boast about—but not before God.

3 What does Scripture say? “Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness.”

What did Abrahm learn about faith? He was known as a champion of the faith, the one chosen by God to start a nation which would receive the promise and the blessing of Messiah. Even though we do things that are good, and God wants us to do good, there is no way that we can be good enough to approach God and His holiness and earn our way into His presence.

We should be doing things to please God, but God’s real desire is not only that we act in holiness, but that we be able to come into His presence. The only way to God is to have believe that Jesus is enough, and that He died for us. That we believe in the One He has sent. This happens through Jesus, once freed from the guilt of sin, we are free to serve Him with a sincere heart and approach Him, clothed in the righteousness of Jesus who died for us.

Heavenly Father give us eyes to see and ears to hear Your Spirit speak to us and give us Your wisdom and allow You to change us to serve you in truth and righteousness. Not based on our own works but on Yours. Strengthen our Faith that we might believe and trust the power You have working in us. We ask in The Name of Jesus the only Name by which we might be changed. Amen

Matthew 19:23–26 Jesus Makes The Impossible Into The Possible

23 Then Jesus said to his disciples, “Truly I tell you, it is hard for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of heaven.

24 Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for someone who is rich to enter the Kingdom of God.”

25 When the disciples heard this, they were greatly astonished and asked, “Who then can be saved?”

26 Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”

Jesus says it is very hard for the rich to enter the Kingdom because it to easy to trust in riches. The way to enter the Kingdom is through an unwavering trust in God and believing His Son. The world around us does not naturally follow the ways of God. The things of the World that people crave are, in fact, a barrier to walking with God.

It is Easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle. This figure of speech shows that it is impossible for humans to earn or pay their way to Heaven. No matter how much money we give it means nothing towards entering His Kingdom or gaining eternal life. If your heart doesn’t belong to God through Jesus it is impossible to enter. But what is impossible for man, is possible with God.

Father in Heaven guard our hearts from trusting the natural ways of the world and find the path to follow Your ways. Keep us from depending on riches. Give us eyes to see the real riches of Your Kingdom. Turn our hearts towards You and keep us from evil and only trusting in Your Spirit. We ask in the Name of Jesus the miracle worker of Nazarath to accomplish what is impossible for us. Amen
