Devotional for Friday, July 3, on Hebrews 9:1-10.
Day 5: The Open Veil
Scripture: Hebrews 9:8; Hebrews 4:16
“The way into the Holiest of All was not yet made manifest.” (Hebrews 9:8)
Reflection
The greatest lesson of the tabernacle was that access to God was at that time restricted. The Holy of Holies could only be entered by the high priest, once a year, and only with blood.
But Jesus changed everything.
When Christ died, the temple veil was torn. The barrier was removed. Through His sacrifice, believers now have direct access to God.
Many Christians live as though the veil is still hanging. They hesitate to pray, doubt God's welcome, or carry burdens alone. Yet Christ has opened the way.
Today, come boldly to the Father. The door is open.
Prayer
Father, thank You that through Jesus I can come directly into Your presence. Help me live with confidence, knowing that the way has been opened forever. Amen.
Weekly Thought:
The tabernacle revealed humanity's need, but Jesus Christ fulfilled everything it pointed toward and opened the way into God's presence forever. (Hebrews 9:1–10)

Devotional for Thursday, July 2, on Hebrews 9:1-10.
Day 3: Daily Cleansing
Scripture: John 13:10
“He who is bathed needs only to wash his feet.”
Reflection
The laver stood between the altar and the Holy Place. The priests were already God's servants, but they still needed continual washing before serving Him.
As believers, we have been saved by Christ, but we still need daily cleansing. Through God's Word, confession, and prayer, He removes the grime that accumulates from living in a fallen world.
A healthy Christian life includes regular time allowing God to examine and cleanse the heart.

Prayer
Father, search my heart today. Reveal anything that hinders my fellowship with You. Cleanse me through Your Word and help me walk in obedience. Amen.

Day 2: The Altar and the Cross
Scripture: Hebrews 9:6–7
“Not without blood…” (Hebrews 9:7)
Reflection
The first object inside the courtyard was the Brazen Altar. Before anyone could approach God, a sacrifice had to be made. The message was clear: sin has a cost.
Every animal sacrificed on that altar pointed forward to Jesus Christ. He became the perfect sacrifice, bearing the judgment our sins deserved.
When guilt threatens to overwhelm you, remember that Christ's sacrifice was sufficient. You do not earn God's acceptance; you receive it through the finished work of Jesus.
Prayer
Lord Jesus, thank You for becoming my sacrifice. Help me never take Your cross for granted. May I live in gratitude for the forgiveness You purchased for me. Amen.

Daily Devotional from Sermon on Hebrews 9:1-10, June 29th. Day 1: The God Who Wants to Be Near
Scripture: Hebrews 9:1–5
“For a tabernacle was prepared…” (Hebrews 9:2)
Reflection
The tabernacle existed because God desired to dwell among His people. Even after sin entered the world, God was not content to leave humanity separated from Him. Every curtain, piece of furniture, and sacrifice pointed to His plan to restore fellowship.
The tabernacle reminds us that God's heart has always been to be near His people. Ultimately, He fulfilled that desire through Jesus Christ, who came to bridge the gap between a holy God and sinful humanity.
Today, remember that God is not distant. Through Christ, He invites you into a personal relationship with Him.
Prayer
Father, thank You for desiring fellowship with me. Thank You for sending Jesus to make a way for me to come near to You. Help me live today aware of Your presence. Amen.

Father’s Days Week Devotional - Day 5: Integrity in the Home

Scripture: Proverbs 20:7Theme: The Blessing of a Consistent Walk

Devotional:The proverb states, "The righteous who walks in his integrity—blessed are his children after him!" Integrity is who we are when no one is looking, especially when we are within the walls of our own homes. Our children are watching our actions far more closely than they are listening to our words. A father who walks in consistent integrity leaves a lasting heritage of blessing and establishes a safe, godly culture for his family. [6]
Questions for Reflection:
1. Is my public testimony matched by my private conduct at home?
2. What is one area where I need to ask God to help me walk in greater integrity?
Prayer: Father, thank You for the incredible privilege of fatherhood. I pray for Your grace to walk in complete integrity before You and my family. May my life be a consistent reflection of Your righteousness, bringing blessing to my children. Amen.

Devotional:The command in Deuteronomy 6 is foundational to the Christian home. We are to love the Lord with all our hearts, and then diligently teach these truths to our children. This is not reserved just for Sunday mornings; it happens naturally when we walk along the road, when we lie down, and when we get up. Fathers are the primary disciple-makers in the home. Faith is caught as much as it is taught through the daily rhythms of our lives. [3]

1. Do my children see my faith as a daily reality or just a weekend event?
2. What is one practical way I can weave conversations about God into our normal family routine this week?
Prayer:God, give me the intentionality to pass down a genuine faith to my children. Let Your Word be on my lips and in my heart as we go about our daily lives. Help me to model what it means to love You with all that I am. Amen.

As fathers, our ultimate legacy is not determined by what we build on our own, but by whether our families are built upon the unchanging foundation of God’s Word. True spiritual leadership begins when we humbly recognize our own insufficiency and rely fully on God's direction.

1. Are the daily efforts of my life focused on earthly success or eternal values?
2. How can I better invite God into the daily decision-making of my home?
Prayer:Heavenly Father, forgive me for the times I have tried to build my life and family in my own strength. I submit to Your authority today. Make me the spiritual leader You have called me to be, and help me build a home that honors Your name. Amen.
