What Is God Teaching Me? —— Rob Fairbaugh
Recently, I have been reading Hearing God by Dallas Willard. He said that we should have a conversational relationship with God like we would with a close friend. With a close friend, we learn what their voice sounds like and know it is them. I am trying to learn the sound of God’s voice.

There are things that can give us guidance as to God’s voice: the circumstances, thoughts, and Scripture. When these three point in the same direction, it may be an indication of God’s voice. One thing is certain: God’s voice will never not align with Scripture.

Also, my mind needs to be actually trying to hear from God, or I will shut Him out.

God is always speaking in our thoughts, conversations with others, songs, books, creation, and many other ways, but am I actually trying to listen to Him?

My heart’s desire is to have a lifelong conversation with Him, and He is beginning to show me what that looks like.

Worship is more than what we sing. It’s how we live, love, serve, and follow Jesus.This is worship 🙌

GRATITUDE
We asked our church family what they’re thankful for, and the answers were a beautiful reminder of just how much we have to be grateful for.

For family. For friends. For God’s goodness and faithfulness. For His grace, His love, and most of all—for Jesus.

Gratitude has a way of shifting our perspective and reminding us that even in the ordinary, God is present and good.
