We’re grateful to share in the good and faithful work of the New Britain Food Pantry in our community!

We are incredibly grateful for the generosity shown by United Church of Christ Pleasantville this past Sunday. During their “Scout Sunday” worship service, parishioners held a food drive to support us, and we were honored to have some of the Scouts personally deliver the donations.

Your compassion, service, and dedication to helping others truly make an impact in our community. Thank you for your support!

Souper Bowl of Caring news from Pleasantville! Dateline: Sunday, February 8, 2026.

These youth had just purchased $750 worth of fresh food items for the New Britain Food Larder, using money collected that morning after worship at church. The fresh items supplemented a large load of non-perishable food and household items gathered in our annual Souper Bowl of Caring food drive.

Cindy Field (pictured back left), the pantry’s director, enthusiastically received our donations on behalf of our many neighbors and friends who need help meeting their nutritional needs.
