Last Sunday, 102 backpacks filled with school supplies were taken down to Cornerstone Community Church by a team of 23 Hilltowners, and were distributed to children living in the Kensington community!

Thank you so much to everyone who so generously donated backpacks and supplies. It was a blessing to see the joy in the children as they received the backpacks and heard the gospel preached during Cornerstone's worship service.

Please continue to pray over the children and their families who received the gift of these backpacks, that they would come to know the greater gift of salvation in Christ, that those who believe would grow in maturity of faith, and that many would get plugged in with Cornerstone Community Church.

Our next opportunity to serve this community again is at the Kensington Family Fun Day on Sunday, October 4. Cornerstone Community Church is hosting this outreach event and has invited us to join. To sign up to volunteer, you can email Natalie at [email protected].

We wrapped up a wonderful week of VBS! Children learned about building their lives on God's unshakeable love. It has been a joy to see the excitement of the kids as they learn about our great God.

Join us in continuing to pray that the message of the gospel would be clear and that the seeds planted this week would take root and grow.

As always, we're incredibly thankful for our volunteer team. We appreciate the time, energy, and love that the volunteers have been pouring into the kids each day. It is a blessing to see the body of Christ use their unique talents to serve these children and their families!

Day #3 at VBS! Today we learned about Joshua, the walls of Jericho and this important truth: God is stronger than anything, so we should obey His instructions.

VBS has officially kicked off, and we are so excited to welcome kids into our building for “Unshakeable”!

This week, we’re exploring the incredible truth of Isaiah 54:10:

“For the mountains may depart and the hills be removed, but my steadfast love shall not depart from you …”

Join us in praying for the students and their families—that they would come to know Jesus as their Savior and experience the unshakable love that only He can give!

What an amazing Church Work Day!

We had the opportunity to serve through yard work, repairs, cleanup, and more—loving others in simple, meaningful ways. It was such a fun day and a true joy to serve together.

Join us for our Annual Spring Work Day! An opportunity to joyfully serve those in our church family and community who would be blessed by some extra helping hands.

Meet us in the Hilltown Baptist Church gym at 8am on Saturday, April 18, 2026. There will be breakfast treats, fruit and coffee to grab on the go.

Bring your own work gloves and yard tools, (rakes, clippers & shovels), if you have them!

Each group will be assigned a work day location, and we will head out together from the church.

The Deacons look forward to serving our church family with you!
