A little glimpse into the heart of the one posting on this page. ❤️Social media is a funny thing. We share photos and videos of people smiling, worshipping, showing up and doing life together. It can all look very sleek and shiny....which may leave you wondering...are these people always so happy and cleaned up?
The answer isn't groundbreaking, and certainly not surprising. I could take a photo of each one in our church family and list things these precious people are walking through.
Things like:
Cancer
Loss
Financial hardship
Health battles
Relationship struggles
Apathy- feeling dry in our walk with Jesus
Mental health challenges
Job issues
The list could go on and on.
BUT GOD!
God sustains us. We pray for each other. We share our weaknesses. We meet at the altar. We wrestle with questions together. We study God's Word together. We remind each other of the Faithfulness of God through our testimonies, and stand on the truth that He SO LOVES US!
We are imperfect people who choose to show up, and support one another when its easy and when it's difficult.
Social media doesn't like long posts or the Gospel, but we can change that in one tiny corner of the internet. You aren't alone, and someone might need to see/hear that today. Leave some encouragement in the comments. ♡
