Mark your calendar for Saturday, November 2nd! The event kicks off at 8:30 AM and wraps up around 5 PM, taking place at a beautiful new spot on the shores of Lake Tulloch. This adventure is open to dads with sons in grades K–12, or surrogate dads who want to step in for the day.

Bonus: Free Camping the Night Before

For those looking to extend the fun, we’re offering a free campout on Friday night at the competition site. Arrive as early as 5 PM, set up camp, and enjoy the evening outdoors with your son before the big day. No extra charge—just more time to connect!

Just a reminder that our 2017 Annual Family Picnic is this Sunday, June 11th! Redeemer Presbyterian Church of Elk Grove will be hosting the Annual Family Picnic this year. Joint worship service will be held at RPC (3030 Renwick Ave, Elk Grove, 10:00AM prayer, 10:30AM worship).

RPC will be providing hamburgers and hotdogs and CVP families have been asked to provide a side dish to share.

*****Please note that there will be NO local worship service at CVP in Ceres******

CVP will be one of the sponsors for the KAMB Family Fun Run at CSU Stan State this Saturday, January 3rd. We are looking for more volunteers for our sponsorship booth. Setup is at 7:30am and the event will end around noon. If you are interested in helping at all during that time, let us know!

A couple of reminders for Resurrection Sunday tomorrow:

1) Sunrise Service will take place at 6:15am at the Walker's home in Delhi. Cinnamon rolls will be available afterwards for those attending.

2) There will be no fellowship meal or Laurels of Grace after the 10:00am service tomorrow. Enjoy time with your family celebrating what Christ has done!

Bethany Christian Services is looking for a few volunteers to come help wash their windows and screens on April 8th, which is Love Modesto Day. If you are able to lend a hand for a couple of hours on that Saturday morning, the window washing will start at 9 a.m.

1) Tomorrow we're meeting in the SDA church across the parking lot from the school;

2) Tonight put your clocks one hour forward - it's daylight savings time;

3) During DiscipleMakers tomorrow we're going to hear reports from several of our church members that have gone on missions trips this past year;

4) Be sure to look in your Sunday night email inbox to see the next letter in our series of twelve letters meant to encourage you in ways to pray for the church during the week, as well as important questions to be thinking about;

5) For those who would like to join us tomorrow morning for prayer, we will be meeting in the library at 9:30am until 9:50am.
