The National Eucharistic Pilgrimage has reached the Diocese of Richmond and will arrive in the Diocese of Wilmington in just over a week!

On behalf of Bishop Koenig, we look forward to seeing many of you at the events hosted in the Diocese on June 11th and 12th.

The Wilmington leg of the Pilgrimage includes more than 7 events over the course of 24 hours on June 11th and 12th, traveling from Kent Island, MD, to Easton, MD, Georgetown, DE, to Ocean City, MD and ending at the Cathedral of St. Peter in Wilmington before handing off Jesus in the Eucharist to the Diocese of Camden. We invite all members of our Diocesan community to join us along the route and celebrate our Eucharistic faith as Jesus and the Perpetual Pilgrims pass through our Diocese. Registration for Diocesan events is encouraged but not required and will help parish and diocesan staff make adequate plans. Additional information is available at cdow.org/cabriniroute.

You could say we’re PAVING the way to reopening… literally! 🚜✨

The parking lot at Saint Peter’s is getting a much-needed facelift, and the progress is exciting to see. Soon, parishioners, visitors, and friends will be able to return to a renewed and restored Saint Peter’s.

The finish line is in sight, but we still need your help to get there.
