Got to spend yesterday afternoon celebrating a true trailblazer for FCA in Maryland, and especially here on the Eastern Shore, Kevin Colliton.

Kevin has been on staff with FCA for the past 30 years. When he started, he was one of just four FCA staff in Maryland. Today, Maryland has nearly 100 staff serving communities across the state, growth that Kevin’s faithful work helped pave the way for.

Since coming on staff, Kevin has been an incredible encouragement, example, and friend to me. I’m grateful for his friendship, his support, and most of all, his faithful commitment to Christ and this ministry.

Congratulations on an incredible 30 years, Kevin!

FCA Outdoors Camp 2026 at Camp Pecometh. This is going to be an awesome week for kids to get outside, try new things, and grow in their faith.

Activities include archery, fishing, crabbing, ropes course, kayaking, canoeing, and swimming.

July 20–23, 2026
Monday–Thursday, 9:00 AM–3:00 PM
Camp Pecometh, Centreville, MD
Ages 10–13
$300 per camper (lunch provided)

We’re keeping this intentionally small so every camper gets a great experience.

What a great time! Seven local athletes made the trip to Liberty University in Lynchburg VA to participate in a weekend full of high level hockey and learning how to compete in a way that glorifies God. Extremely grateful for the incredible men serving with FCA Hockey. Already looking forward to next year.

Saturday was an awesome day!

Our athletes and volunteers showed up ready to play all kinds of sports, laugh, compete, and encourage each other. Days like that are such a great reminder that every single person matters and was created on purpose, with purpose, for a purpose.

We talked through Psalm 139:14 and how each of us is fearfully and wonderfully made by God. Just like pieces of a puzzle, every single person is different, unique, intentional, and needed. The picture isn’t complete without every piece.

Extremely grateful for all the volunteers who showed up to love and serve so well. It was a great morning and a really cool picture of what community is supposed to look like.

Grateful to get to be a small part of it.
