First Baptist Centre

On November 3, we’re pausing church and recreation activities as First Baptist Centre serves as an official polling location.

We’re grateful for the opportunity to open our doors and serve our neighbors in this way. ❤️

✨ Got gold hiding in your jewelry box? It could help build something that lasts! 💛

✨ Got gold hiding in your jewelry box? It could help build something that lasts! 💛

Join us for our Gold Fundraiser for the Building Fund on Thursday, November 12, from 2–7 PM in Room 115.

Dig through those jewelry boxes and dresser drawers for unwanted gold necklaces, bracelets, chains, earrings, coins, watches, and other gold jewelry. Bring your treasures to church, where Harold Day will weigh them and determine their dollar value based on current gold prices. Every donation helps support our church’s building fund!

💛 Here's what you need to know:
• Nonwearable gold jewelry is welcome. No costume jewelry, please!
• You'll receive a receipt for your donation, and its value will be reflected in your year-end giving statement.
• No payment is given for diamonds or silver, so consider having a jeweler remove any diamonds beforehand.

You might be surprised by what’s tucked away in those drawers! Turn forgotten gold into something that makes a lasting difference at First Baptist Centre.

🍂 HELPING HANDS THANKSGIVING BASKETS

We’re also helping local families prepare for Thanksgiving! First Baptist Centre is collecting:
🍠 Cans of sweet potatoes
🛍️ $20 gift cards to Pic-n-Save

These donations will help Helping Hands provide Thanksgiving baskets to families in our community.

Two great opportunities to share God’s love, one shopping trip! Thank you for being a church family that loves to give and serve. 💙 Please drop donations off at the church office or ROC Welcome Desk.
