You never know what part you may play in someone’s journey to Christ. 🌱

Maybe you planted a seed by inviting them. Maybe you watered it by encouraging them, welcoming them, praying with them, making time for them, or simply showing them the love of Jesus. And one day you may have the privilege of watching them be baptized and filled with the Holy Spirit

No part is too small. What may feel like a simple act to you could be something God uses to change someone’s life forever.

“I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the increase.” — 1 Corinthians 3:6

This past Wednesday Bishop Harper spoke on peacemaking. Being a peacemaker is more than avoiding conflict. It’s choosing responses that reflect Christ, even when tension is present.

Romans 12:18 says, “If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone.”

So before we respond, repeat, repost, or react, we should ask ourselves:

Does my response help create peace, or does it create chaos?
Am I bringing clarity, or adding confusion?
Am I helping restore, or causing more offense?
Am I shutting down gossip, or giving it somewhere to grow?
Am I trying to make peace, or simply trying to prove that I’m right?

Being a peacemaker doesn’t mean ignoring truth, avoiding hard conversations, or compromising what is right. It means allowing the peace of Christ to shape HOW we handle them.

Join us for Wednesday Bible Study as we have open discussion about what it looks like to actually live out our faith, not just talk about it.

The work of the Kingdom goes beyond the four walls of the church.

New Life Church was grateful to partner with Project Weber/RENEW for a day of serving, connecting, and showing love within our community.

Being the Church means meeting people where they are and allowing the love of Christ to be seen through how we serve.

Thank you to everyone who volunteered, donated, and helped make this day possible. 💙

About Weber Renew: Through peer-led outreach, Project Weber/RENEW provides harm reduction and recovery support services, builds relationships with the people they serve, and fights for systemic change.

Thank you to everyone who came out and spent time with us, and a special thank you to every volunteer who gave their time, energy, and love to make our Community Social possible. We appreciate you!

Church was never meant to stay within four walls. We are called to GO, to be present, to love our neighbors, and to let the light of Christ shine wherever He sends us. ☀️

Our prayer is that we continue to be a church that doesn’t just gather together, but goes out together, building genuine connections, serving our community, and spreading the love and light of Jesus.
