150 dinners completed. 151 and counting.

Last night at the Episcopal Church of the Resurrection, we welcomed our community for our 151st Interfaith Monthly Community Dinner. Together we served 190 meals and sent home 79 additional hot meals with our guests.

We were honored to welcome Bishop Phyllis Spiegel who presented Greg and Susie Putz with a declaration of appreciation. Rev. Dr. Burke and Rob Burt shared words of encouragement and hope. We are deeply grateful to the Bountiful Heights Stake of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for preparing and serving a wonderful meal, and to the many volunteers, donors, and community partners who made the evening possible.

These dinners are about belonging, friendship, and building community.

Thank you to everyone who has helped make 151 dinners possible.

Join us for Dinner 152 on Wednesday, July 15, for our annual summer BBQ. As always, the meal is free and everyone is welcome.

Meet Shannon Burke, Spring 2026 EES Grant Recipient

Through her project, Circles of Beloved Community, Shannon Burke is creating spaces where relationships deepen, stories are shared, and people encounter Christ through authentic connection.

Rooted in the simple practices of gathering, listening, and sharing meals, Shannon's ministry brings people together across differences, fostering belonging, dignity, and mutual understanding. By creating opportunities for storytelling and faithful presence, the project helps participants build trust, strengthen community, and discover the ways God is already at work in their lives and neighborhoods.

For Shannon, evangelism begins with listening—making room for people to be known, heard, and welcomed into deeper relationship with one another and with God.

We're grateful to support Shannon's ministry through an Episcopal Evangelism Society grant.
