Come and see! Join us for a special “Songs of Hope - Acts of Kindness” Watch Party as The Tabernacle Choir at Temple Square takes the stage in Los Angeles for a historic concert event.

Our local watch party will be held at Orchard Park in Bentonville on June 26th. Festivities begin with live entertainment and Games going from 6:30 to 7:30 pm. Concert will begin at 8:00 pm.

For an Act of Kindness, we will be gathering donations at this event to support The Children and Family Advocacy Center in Little Flock, Arkansas.

In advance of the upcoming general conference leadership session (April 2, 2026), the First Presidency of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has announced upcoming adjustments to the Sunday meeting schedule.

These changes are designed to support members in their efforts to become lifelong disciples of Jesus Christ and to strengthen gospel learning both at home and at church.

Beginning September 6, 2026, the current alternating schedule will be replaced with a weekly format:

• Sunday School, Relief Society, elders quorum, Young Women, and Aaronic Priesthood quorum meetings will now be held every week
• Sacrament meeting will remain 60 minutes, followed by brief transitions
• Sunday School and quorum/class meetings will each be 25 minutes
• Primary will continue each Sunday for 55 minutes, held during adult and youth classes
• Where needed, local units may adjust the order of meetings

These inspired adjustments will help create more consistent opportunities to learn, teach, and grow in the gospel each week.

The March 2026 update to the Church’s “General Handbook,” prepared under the direction of the First Presidency, includes several adjustments.

A few of them are:

Revised language emphasizing ordinances and covenants as central in God’s work of salvation and exaltation (chapter 1)
Updated information about calling ward Sunday School presidencies that are all men or all women (13.2.2.1)
A new section about caring for the earth (38.8.6)
These updates are online and will appear in the Gospel Library app in the next 24 to 48 hours.

Step into Holy Week in a way you’ve never experienced before.
On March 28, 2026, the Centerton Arkansas Stakes invites you to In The Moment: A Holy Week Celebration, an immersive, room-to-room experience that brings the final week of the Savior’s life to life in a meaningful and memorable way.

This evening is designed to be experienced together. Groups of 10–20 will begin their journey at reserved times and move through each space as a group, reflecting on the love, sacrifice, and hope found in Jesus Christ.

Because of the unique format, this free event will be by reservation, and we anticipate time slots filling quickly. While we’ll do our best to accommodate walk-ins as space allows, reserving ahead of time is strongly encouraged.

Funeral services for President Jeffrey R. Holland of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will be held in the Tabernacle on Temple Square on Wednesday, December 31, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. MST.

President Holland died on December 27, 2025, in Salt Lake City at the age of 85.

The funeral will be open to the public ages 8 and older. Seating in the Tabernacle will be available to the public with doors opening at 9:30 a.m. Admission to the Tabernacle will be on a space available basis. Overflow seating will be made available as appropriate.

President Dallin H. Oaks will preside and Elder Quentin L. Cook, a former mission companion of President Holland, will conduct the service. The program will include remarks by members of the Holland family. Music will be provided by the Tabernacle Choir at Temple Square.

The funeral services will be streamed live and available on demand on ChurchofJesusChrist.org and on YouTube.com/churchofjesuschrist.

With heavy hearts, we announce that President Jeffrey R. Holland, President of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, died today at approximately 3:15 a.m. MST from complications associated with kidney disease, while surrounded by his family. He was 85.

“My total responsibility … is to bear witness of the Lord Jesus Christ,” President Holland said hours after he was called to be an Apostle in 1994. “As inadequate as I feel, it is the most pleasant and most rewarding and most thrilling assignment a man can have in this world.”
