The word of God is not contingent on our understandIng, it's not based on our perception or what we "feel" that it means. It's not subject to our approval or opinion. It is sovereign and to be taken literally. There are no "loopholes" only truth!

There is freedom in learning that true joy does not come from being self centered, spouse centered, children centered, work centered or money centered, it only comes from being Christ centered... :)
