Volunteer Spotlight: Jessilyn Cook & Family

This month, we are thankful for Jessilyn Cook, her daughter, and family members visiting from the Philippines who have spent part of their visit volunteering at H2O Food Pantry.

We are grateful to Jessilyn and her family for sharing their servant hearts with our community. Their willingness to help others is a wonderful reminder that kindness and compassion bring people together.

Since opening in 2011, H2O Food Pantry has been run entirely by volunteers and supported through donations. Every family we serve is helped by people who generously give their time, talents, and resources.

If you need assistance paying your electric bill, contact the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program. This program provides help with paying heating costs in winter months to qualifying individuals and families. Beginning in January, applications are accepted on a first come, first serve basis, as long as funds are available.
Check eligibility at your local Community Action Agency (acaaa.org).

ACAAA is Arkansas’s statewide association of Community Action Agencies. Fighting poverty across Arkansas, we help people help themselves to achieve self-sufficiency.

H2O Help-2-Others Food pantry would like to thank our community partner Centerton Harps manager Reana March and staff.
They started our Holiday season with two $500.00 gift cards. They make Blessing bags for customers to purchase and to date we
have received 200 bags. We also pick up bakery items three times a week to share with families in need. Our food pantry is thankful for their help in leading the fight against hunger in our community.
The H2O Food pantry is open Saturdays, 9:00-11:00. We are located at 424 N Main St., Centerton, AR
