What a challenging Word reminding us that it’s not enough to simply be close to what God is doing… we must be FULLY AWAKE to recognize it.
Awake to see His Glory.
Awake to share His Burden.
Awake to meet His Coming.
We can be in the right place, surrounded by the right things, and still miss the voice of God. Proximity doesn’t guarantee sensitivity. We must stay awake, stay prayerful, and know what the Word of God says.
True glory doesn’t just make us feel something. It doesn’t stop at a moment, an emotion, or an experience. When we truly encounter the glory of God, it calls us to DO something.
We cannot desire the mountain while rejecting the garden. We want the glory, but we must also be willing to pray. Good intentions can never replace prayer.
Yes, there will be seasons when we become weary…but we cannot afford to fall asleep.
There’s a difference between being tired because of the work and becoming tired of the work.
Maybe you’ve been slumbering. Maybe you’ve become weary. But if there is still oil in your lamp, there is still purpose in your life.
The call is still there.
The purpose is still there.
His coming is still ahead.
Church, it’s time to be FULLY AWAKE!
