What a challenging Word reminding us that it’s not enough to simply be close to what God is doing… we must be FULLY AWAKE to recognize it.

Awake to see His Glory.
Awake to share His Burden.
Awake to meet His Coming.

We can be in the right place, surrounded by the right things, and still miss the voice of God. Proximity doesn’t guarantee sensitivity. We must stay awake, stay prayerful, and know what the Word of God says.

True glory doesn’t just make us feel something. It doesn’t stop at a moment, an emotion, or an experience. When we truly encounter the glory of God, it calls us to DO something.

We cannot desire the mountain while rejecting the garden. We want the glory, but we must also be willing to pray. Good intentions can never replace prayer.

Yes, there will be seasons when we become weary…but we cannot afford to fall asleep.

There’s a difference between being tired because of the work and becoming tired of the work.

Maybe you’ve been slumbering. Maybe you’ve become weary. But if there is still oil in your lamp, there is still purpose in your life.

The call is still there.
The purpose is still there.
His coming is still ahead.

Church, it’s time to be FULLY AWAKE!

Sunday Recap!!

What a challenging reminder from Psalm 19:1-4 this morning!!

There is a God in Heaven… LOOK HIGHER!

So much in this world fights to keep our eyes lowered. We search for fulfillment, answers, peace, and wholeness in the things around us, only to discover that what our soul truly needs cannot be found down here.

You won’t find complete satisfaction in this world.
You won’t find wholeness in possessions, people, or temporary fixes. We are complete in HIM!

When life gets difficult and everything around us tells us to look down, faith calls us to look higher.

Our circumstances may be overwhelming, but our God is bigger.
Our problems may be strong, but our God is stronger.
We may walk through seasons of darkness, but there is still a God in Heaven!

This world is not our home. We were never meant to find everything we need here.

Heaven is still calling.

The question is: Will we answer the call?

Get your eyes off what is beneath you. Stop searching in places that can never make you whole.

Look higher. There is a God in Heaven.

Sunday Recap

“BUT GOD” by Pastor King

What a Word this morning from Ephesians 2:4-7!

Sometimes it looks like the story has already been written. The trouble is real. The betrayal is real. The mistakes are real. The consequences are real.

The enemy looks at it all and says, “Put a period there. It’s over.”

BUT GOD!!!!

“But God, who is rich in mercy…”

Those two words can change the entire story.

You may have 99 chapters filled with difficulty, disappointment, wrong decisions, and things completely outside of your control but the enemy does not own the book.

Where the devil wants to put a period, God puts a comma and says, “I’m not finished writing yet.”

Grace is something we could never manufacture or earn. We don’t deserve it, BUT GOD is rich in mercy. We weren’t worthy, BUT GOD is worthy. We didn’t reach up to Him…He reached down to us.

Joseph’s life BUT GOD.
Paul and Silas in prison BUT GOD.
And your story can have one too.

God may let you reach the end of your rope just to show you that He hasn’t reached the end of His.

He doesn’t have to erase your past to redeem your story. He can restore the years, use what the enemy meant for evil, and turn it for good.

God is not done writing your story.
His mercy isn’t finished.
His grace isn’t finished.
His calling is still on you.
His anointing is still on you.

Whatever has been written before today, don’t put a period where God has placed a comma.

BUT GOD can make all the difference.

Sunday Recap!!

As Jesus spoke to the churches, the question became personal…. Which church is living in me?

Is God still moving in me? Is He still working in me? Have I kept my first love, or have I become so busy doing for God that I’ve neglected my relationship with God?

Ephesus reminds us… Don’t lose your first love.
Smyrna asks, Will you remain faithful when living for God gets hard?
Pergamum warns us that compromise often begins with one unlocked door.
Thyatira reminds us that what we continually tolerate can eventually become what we accommodate.
Sardis warns us not to let our reputation become greater than our reality. People may see us on Sunday, but Jesus sees us every day of the week.
Philadelphia shows us that we don’t have to be the biggest, strongest, or most talented. We simply need to be faithful. God can open doors no man can shut. And Laodicea warns us of the danger of becoming lukewarm.

Yet through every correction, we see the faithfulness of Jesus. Even among churches with struggles, failures, and weaknesses….He was still walking in their midst.

He corrects because He loves.
He calls because He hasn’t given up.
He speaks because He still desires His Church.

We need to ask… What kind of church is living in ME?

Am I faithful?
Am I compromising?
Have I become comfortable?
Is my relationship with God real beyond Sunday?
Do I still love Him like I did at the beginning?

“He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.”

May we have ears to hear, hearts willing to respond, and a desire to remain faithful to the One who is still walking in the midst of His Church.
