Several VBS volunteers gathered last night to begin decorating for next week’s big event!

Here is the door to the Primary classroom. You will get a glimpse of the rest if you join us tonight at 6:00 for prayer meeting/Bible study.

Also, two A/C units are scheduled to be replaced on Monday. This will not interfere with VBS.

We had another good day in the house of the Lord at Center MBC today! We had first time visitors, and a family join this morning. This evening, we noticed two pronouns, two places, two purposes, and two promises in the 23rd Psalm, and then the whole church gathered around one of our members to lay hands on him and pray ahead of an upcoming surgery to remove cancerous lymph nodes. Next week marks one year since this church voted to call me as pastor. What a blessed year it has been. We love our church!

We surprised our deacon on his 85th birthday! You’ve got to get up pretty early in the morning to get one over on Bro. Jerry, but I think we pulled it off.

The plaque reads: “Presented to Jerry Cockrell.
In sincere appreciation for your outstanding service to Center MBC. 1 Timothy 3:13”
