We surprised our deacon on his 85th birthday! You’ve got to get up pretty early in the morning to get one over on Bro. Jerry, but I think we pulled it off.

The plaque reads: “Presented to Jerry Cockrell.

Joanna Lowe played Amazing Grace on violin last night. This was her first ever solo special. We are very proud of her.

We enjoyed having Gene Burdette with us yesterday. If you missed it, here is a video of one of his piano specials. Pray for his family, his work in Monterey, Tennessee and surrounding areas, and for the people God has sent him to that they may be receptive to the gospel message.

We are going to miss our Peggy. Last night was a solemn service as we all grieve, but we grieve not as others who have no hope! Our hope is in the resurrection. Let’s continue to pray for and support Bro Spencer and family.
