Jesus said:

“Ye shall know them by their fruits.” Matthew 7:16 KJV

It’s easy to say we love God, but our actions, attitudes, words, reactions, and treatment of others reveal what we are producing. Galatians 5:22–23 KJV tells us the fruit produced by God’s Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, and temperance. So we can examine ourselves: Am I producing love or hatred? Peace or confusion? Patience or anger? Gentleness or harshness? Faith or fear? Self-control or impulsiveness? A tree doesn’t have to announce what kind of tree it is, the fruit tells you. In the same way, our lives should demonstrate who we belong to.

Don’t just say you know the God of Israel Jesus, produce the fruit that reflects the God of Israel Jesus.

Look in the mirror at yourself and ask
, What kind of fruit is my life producing?
