Denver Institute for Faith & Work Preparing people to serve God and others in their daily work so that cities are transformed

Denver Institute for Faith & Work is an educational nonprofit based in Denver, Colorado, offering theological education on issues of work, calling and culture. Our goal is to provide a deeper understanding of our work and professions in light of the Christian faith, and to use that knowledge to better serve our organizations, communities and professions.

Does your work matter to God?

The 5280 Fellowship is a 5-month learning community for early- to mid-career Christian professionals who want to engage their work more faithfully. Through retreats, Saturday sessions, cohort discussions, and shared practices, Fellows build a theology of work, find community with peers, and develop rhythms for serving others well.

Our hope is that Fellows will live with God, for the world, through their work.

The priority deadline for the 2027 class is this Friday, October 23.

💡Monthly Spiritual Discipline

This month, we’ll reflect on the brokenness we bring to our work and confess it in a way that invites God to keep changing us. This practice grows our humility, gratitude, dependence on God, and availability to others at work.

Hear Brian Gray share how he practices examination and confession, and download the guide to reflect more deeply this month: https://ow.ly/PLWF50ZYfXH

“It’s been helpful, as a small business owner, to be around other women in business. Oftentimes I feel like I’m doing this all by myself and must be the only one going through this. In reality, a lot of us are, so it’s nice to have that encouragement and be reminded that I’m not alone.”

You aren’t alone in your work either. In just 3 weeks, on Friday, October 30, join a global community of women at WWC26 who are in it with you. We’ll rediscover the stories of working women in Scripture and, through their lives, encounter God in ways that reshape our own.

Registration closes on Tuesday, Oct. 27, so get your ticket today! https://ow.ly/Mox350ZWu5f

Fellows Friday 👋 Meet Loralei, an alum of the 5280 Fellowship Class of 2026!

Loralei's favorite parts of the Fellowship were new relationships and a space to discuss practical theology, not just academic, lofty ideas. She found theology mattered more when applied to what it means to be a teacher, a venture capitalist, an executive assistant, or a tax manager.

Have you thought about how theology applies to your daily work, or the work of your community around you? The 5280 Fellowship is a 5-month learning community that equips early- to mid-career Christian professionals to live with God, for the world, through their work in the city of Denver and beyond.
