Over the years, this house has grown into a family… a people who love Jesus deeply, who fight for one another in the Spirit, who show up in the highs and lows, and who carry a shared desire to see God’s best for our city and our church.

Every story, every journey, every season represented in this picture speaks to the unity Jesus has built here. A unity formed through worship, prayer, laughter, tears, and the everyday “doing life together” that only the Spirit can weave. What a gift it is to belong to this family.

Celebrate with us! National Donut Day started with The Salvation Army. During World War I, the "Donut Lassies" served donuts and encouragement to American soldiers. Today, we honor that legacy by supporting veterans in our community. Enjoy a donut, celebrate a tradition of service, and help provide hope and assistance to those who have served.

National Donut Day is almost here! 🍩 This year, on June 5, we’ll celebrate Donut Day across the nation.

Donut Day was created to honor the Salvation Army’s “Donut Lassies,” who served fresh donuts and support to soldiers during World War I.

Feeling inspired? Here’s the original WWI-style donut recipe to try for yourself:

Yield: approximately 12 donuts

Ingredients:
• 1 large egg
• 1 cup flour
• ½ cup sugar
• 1 teaspoon baking powder
• pinch of salt
• ⅓ cup milk
• oil for frying

Directions:

Combine all ingredients (except the oil) to make the dough.
Thoroughly knead the dough, roll smooth, and cut into rings less than 1/4 inch thick. (Get creative—Salvation Army Donut Lassies used whatever they could find, from baking powder cans to coffee percolator tubes!)
Drop the rings into hot oil, turning slowly several times until golden brown.
Remove the donuts and allow excess oil to drip off.
Dust with powdered sugar, let cool, and enjoy!

If you give this historic recipe a try, tag us in your post—we’d love to see your creations! 🍩

A Sunday reminder to stay rooted in what matters most. ❤️

In a world constantly telling us what to chase, Romans 12:2 calls us to something different—to be transformed by faith, renewed in mind, and grounded in God’s truth.

🍩 A sweet tradition with a purpose.

On June 6, join us and LaMar's Donuts & Coffee in celebrating National Donut Day across the Denver metro area!

The tradition began during World War I when The Salvation Army “Donut Lassies” served fresh donuts to soldiers on the front lines, bringing comfort, connection, and a taste of home. We’re honored to continue that legacy alongside our friends at LaMar’s.

Stop by any Denver metro LaMar’s location for a FREE glazed donut, and consider supporting your local Salvation Army programs and veterans services while you’re there.

Throughout the day, Salvation Army officers and volunteers will deliver donuts to first responders, frontline workers, and veterans across our community.

📍 Friday, June 6

To God be the Glory!

Last night was a beautiful time in the house of the Lord! Special Guest-Concord Youth Chorus ministered with Centennial Youth Chorus, Band, Timbrelists, and Singing Company to create a sound that filled the house with glory.

This move of God began when Concord contacted us, carrying a vision to bring their youth to Colorado for a weekend of ministry, concluding with a concert of praise. We said yes in faith and God did the rest.

And after watching them minister together, after seeing Concords eight years of singing and growing together, our hearts are full knowing how they have inspired Centennial’s 2‑year‑old youth chorus to keep worshipping Jesus and to give Him our very best.

🫶🏽 So, thank you, Majors Ann & Gwyn Jones, Kaylynn, and the Concord Youth Chorus. Thank you for trusting us with this moment, for pouring yourselves out so faithfully over our teens and congregation, for sharing God’s Word, and for ministering to our retired officers with joy and excellence. We have been blessed.

🫶🏽 Our deep gratitude to the The Salvation Army of Northern California & The Salvation Army Intermountain Divisional Leaders for giving us the go‑ahead to work together and make this weekend possible. And to our DMDs Stephen and Daniel-thank you for your full support, your encouragement, and your prayers.

🫶🏽 So grateful for our amazing Corps Council, who opened their hearts and homes to house Concord’s Youth, feed them, drive them to where they needed to be and wrap them in Christ’s love. You made them feel at home and we love you!

🫶🏽 To our YPSM (Abby Helton), Praise Leader (Claire Griffin), YMC (Savannah Trimmer), Timbrel Leader (Shaughnessy Dunn), and Singing Company Director (Susan Foster), thank you for standing with Kaylynn. What a circle of mighty women of God, laying down self for the glory of the Lord.

🫶🏽 A special thank‑you to our Bandmaster, CSM & Staff, whose steady faith, flexibility, and full support for Concord’s musical needs helped make this weekend flow with grace. Thank you for trusting the Lord in this move and for standing ready to serve however needed.

🫶🏽 What moved us most this weekend wasn’t just the music, but the way our church family rose up in love, serving in the band, music, A/V, cleanup, and choosing to sit with Concord’s youth, listen to them, laugh with them, and make them feel at home. This is the Kingdom in motion.

🫶🏽 We are also so grateful for our Front Range officers & families who drove out to worship, fellowship, and support this concert of praise. And in the kitchen. Centennial loves you!

🫶🏽 And a word of gratitude to our Corps Officers family who drove from Sacramento. Thank you for loving on God’s people with warmth, your servant heart and prepping of food. You are so loved!

Last night’s Spring Concert was a beautiful time in the house of the Lord. Voices of this generation rose to lift high the name of Jesus through song, timbrels, instruments, and praise.

Here are some videos.

This Memorial Day weekend, as many pause to reflect, we’re reminded to trust God with both our purpose and our path ahead.

“Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and He will establish your plans.” — Proverbs 16:3

Wishing you a meaningful and restful weekend.

Our church body has been in a year-long sermon series, studying the Gospel of Luke which has taken us from the manger into Jesus’ life & ministry and now entering the sacred details of Holy Week.

Join us as we bring this journey to its culmination on Good Friday, April 3, 2026 - A night of worship, sharing in the love feast as He commanded, “Do this in remembrance of me,” and part taking in the washing of hands as a symbol of His humble service.
