Friday Message of Faith:

“But Jesus said, ‘Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of heaven.’ “

Jesus loved children and invited them to Him. VBS is the perfect place for them to learn about Jesus. Children of all ages are invited to our VBS tomorrow. Crafts, Splash pad, trail walks, Bible study, music, food and fun will all be included in this wonderful day! Weather is not an issue; we will be there in the sunshine or the rain.

Remember if a ride is needed, call the church at 931-243-2882 before 9 AM tomorrow. Leave a message with your name, address and a phone number where you can be reached.

Since the forecast has some rain chances in it, we want to let everyone know that our VBS will continue on Saturday, June 13, from 10 AM until 3 PM at Donaldson Park, rain or shine!

However, we are sad to announce that the adult class has been canceled. A beloved member of our church, Richard Norrod, passed away this week. His son, Nate, was scheduled to teach that class and will be unable to do so. Please help us pray for the Norrod family in this time of grief.

ATTENTION: SPECIAL EVENT INVITATION

Who: EVERYONE IS INVITED AND WELCOME!
What: Celina First Baptist VBS
When: Saturday, June 13, from 10 AM-3 PM
Theme: “The Creation”
Where: Donaldson Park (except adult class will be at the church)

Need a ride? Call the church at 931-243-2882 and leave a message with your name, address, and a phone number where we can reach you. The van will be leaving the church to start pickup about 9AM.

Hooray-it’s June! Only a few more days until VBS. Our VBS is on Saturday, June 13th from 10 AM until 3 PM at Donaldson Park, rain or shine.

Now some of you are thinking that doesn’t look right. Isn’t VBS usually 5 days long and at night? Well, we are doing things differently this year to protect everyone from our construction zone as our expansion continues. But you won’t miss a thing that makes VBS so much fun! All the food, classes, recreation, music, and crafts will still be part of it.

There will be classes for all ages, including adults. The adults will meet at the church for class and lunch starting at 10 AM. They are welcome to join in the fun at the park afterwards.

Transportation will be provided for those who need it. You can call the church to leave a message with your name, a phone number, and address. The van will head out about 9 AM that morning.

Everyone is invited. So mark your calendar, spread the word, and get ready to learn more about God’s creation!
