Moses knew he was called to deliver Israel, but when he acted outside of God’s timing he ended up running for 40 years. Later, when God called him again, he responded with hesitation, excuses, and fear. Yet God patiently reminded him that He would be with him every step of the way.

Sometimes the greatest barrier to our purpose is not lack of ability — it’s unwillingness or fear.
