Hey everyone! Quick update for the Camp Overton workday Which will be held MARCH 7th at 9AM

WE NEED VOLUNTEERS!

We’re aiming for about 10–12 volunteers. Here’s what we need help with:
• 2 people to put screws into the roof of the caretaker’s house
• A few people to clean up the vesper bowl area
• A few to freshen up motel rooms and house cabins (Darlene will take care of bunkhouses later)
• A couple of people to clean the kitchen and freshen up the dining hall

Come be apart of the opening of Camp O—thanks so much!

Introducing our worship leaders for Camp Meeting which will be July 10th-13th 2025! We hope to see you there!

-Meet Rich & Sherry Tiner!

They are two retired teachers. A middle school art teacher and a university media professor. Called to teach the most important concepts of life. Worship. Faith. Truth. Discipleship. Rich & Sherry Tiner served The Pointe Church for many years with joy and thanksgiving.

These days, they still teach the most important concepts of life…for those 20 grandkids from Texas to New Mexico to Idaho, and right here in Tennessee.

We are excited to announce some details about Camp Meeting for this year!
- Meet our speaker, Pastor Cleveland Gilkes!

-He has been preaching for the past seventeen years. He now serves as senior pastor of Journey Pointe Church of God (Murfreesboro, Tennessee). When he is not pastoring, he serves as a Social Worker in the Tennessee Department of Health .

-Cleveland completed two bachelor degrees, one in Social Work and the other in Theology, while he attended West Indies Theological College in Trinidad & Tobago. He served as youth and associate pastor at Charlieville Mennonite Church, First Church of God Florahome, FL, Park City Baptist Church, MT, and National Director of Youth Ministry for the Mennonite Church of Trinidad & Tobago.

-Cleveland grew up in Guyana, which is on the northeast coast of South America. He has spent the last thirteen years working with youth, young families, juveniles, intellectually disabled adults, and vulnerable adults. Cleveland is married to his best friend Elizabeth and they have a beautiful daughter named Elyana.

Pastor Cleveland believes that a person’s greatest need is the saving grace of our Lord & Savior Jesus Christ. He is passionate about the family, unity and fellowship of the saints, and practically practicing the teachings of the Bible. Cleveland’s ministry verse is “He must increase, but I must decrease” - John 3:30.

Please be praying for Pastor Cleveland as he prepares for what the Lord has on his heart for those attending our upcoming Campmeeting. Also be in prayer for camp meeting! We hope and pray to see you there!
