Most of us spend a lot of time trying to control things that were never ours to carry.

This Sunday, we kicked off our Summer Playlist series with a message from Psalm 46, a chapter written for anxious hearts, stressful seasons, and uncertain moments.

One of the biggest reminders from the message was this: the promise of Scripture isn’t that we’ll avoid hardship. It’s that God meets us in the middle of it.

The goal isn’t a life without storms. It’s finding a foundation that holds when they come.

If life feels heavy, uncertain, or overwhelming right now, you’re not alone. We believe there is hope, peace, and strength available even in the middle of the chaos.

This is what it looks like to turn a gym into a worship space every single Sunday. From unloading trailers to setting up chairs, kids spaces, signs, and everything in between—it takes an army of people saying “yes” to the mission.

And honestly? We wouldn’t trade it for the world.

Every chair set up is for a person. Every box unloaded is for a family. Every early morning is worth it because lives are being changed and people are encountering Jesus.

In Matthew 28:19-20, Jesus gave His followers a clear assignment—to go, make disciples, baptize, and teach. The Great Commission wasn’t just a command for the early church; it’s our mission today.

Everything we do points back to this. Every Sunday gathering. Every worship night. Every conversation. Every act of obedience.

We’re not building an audience—we’re making disciples.

Tomorrow night is one of those nights you won't want to miss!
Join us for Picnic at the Park on Sunday, May 31 at 5:00 PM at the Old Celina Park Pavilion, right next to the pickleball courts, playground, and splash pad.
This is a great opportunity to slow down, enjoy some good food, let the kids play, and spend time with friends old and new. Whether you've been with us from the beginning or you're just getting connected, we'd love to see you there.
Bring a lawn chair, bring something to add to the potluck, and come ready for a fun, relaxed evening together.

And celebrating TWO baptisms was easily one of the best parts of the day. There is nothing like watching people step into new life!
