This week we taught preschoolers that where they live is special to God. In Jeremiah 29:1-14, God told His people that they should live their lives well, even while they were living in Babylon. God promised to bring them home to Israel in 70 years. We can know that no matter where we live, we are special to God. Where we live is special to God because we are special to God. Talk about all the different kinds of homes animals live in and then talk about all the different homes people live in. Talk about how there are many different kinds of homes, and no matter where we are, we can know that where we live is special to God. ♥

In Jeremiah 29:1-14, God told His people that they should live their lives to the fullest, even while they were living in another country. Living well would make a difference in their lives and the lives of those around them. Kids learned that God made us to enjoy life and follow Him wherever we are because where we live matters to God. Talk with your kids about different homes around the world. While there are many different homes in different places, we can know that where we live matters to God.

Kids learned this week that their lives matter to God. In our Bible story from Judges 13–16, a man named Samson showed that he was special to God, even though he made wrong choices. God made Samson special, and He cared about him. Kids can know their lives matter to God too. Pray with your kids this week for specific people that you can share Jesus with.
