Divine Savior Catholic Church is pleased to welcome Father Mike Kerin to our parish community.
As we deal with winter weather conditions here is a message from Father Mike : After consultation with Fr. Samuel, and based on the NWS forecast, it seems prudent to cancel Mass on Sat eve (1/11). In addition to heavy and wet snow, the roads will refreeze over the next few days. The Church driveway is steep and unplowed. And I have a 100+ mile round trip from Hartsville in icy conditions. ... We celebrate the Baptism of the Lord. If you can, please take some time to reflect on Isaiah 42:1-4, 6-7; Acts 10:34-38; & Luke 3:15-16, 21-22. What does Jesus' baptism mean for him and for you? Let's pray for those yet to be baptized. We are planning on Mass on Tues at 9 am and on Sat, 1/18. Fr. Mike, Glenmary. (filling-in for Fr. Samuel).
