THE IDOLS MAY LOOK DIFFERENT TODAY, BUT THE BATTLE FOR OUR HEARTS IS STILL THE SAME.

In 1 Kings 18, Elijah stood against the prophets of Baal, and God answered with fire! 🔥

But this story challenges us to look at our own hearts.

We may not bow down to idols like Baal, but how often do we give our time, attention, and devotion to things other than God?

God doesn’t want to be just another part of our lives. He wants to be the center of them.

Tailgate Sunday is Coming!

Enjoy hotdogs, chili, and frito pie following the morning worship service, test your skills in our Quarterback Long Distance Competition and Gameday Kicking Contest, and jump into games and activities for the whole family.

The sun stood still. But the story was never really about the sun. ☀️

In Joshua 10:1–15, we see one of the most incredible miracles in Scripture. But the real focus isn’t on the miracle itself. It’s on the God who made the sun and holds all creation in His hands.

What a reminder that no situation is too big and nothing is impossible for our God!

The miracle is incredible. But the Miracle Worker is greater. 🙌

What do you do when life feels completely out of your control?

Exodus 7 reminds us that while Pharaoh looked powerful and the circumstances seemed overwhelming, God was above it all.

And He still is.

You may not be able to control what’s happening around you, but you can trust the One who is over everything. Nothing is bigger than God. Nothing is beyond His authority. And nothing catches Him by surprise.

YOU MAY NOT BE IN CONTROL, BUT GOD IS STILL OVER IT ALL. 🙌

Genesis 1 opens with darkness, emptiness, and disorder—and then God speaks. Light breaks through. Order takes shape. Life begins.

The same God who brought order out of chaos in the beginning is still at work today. Whatever feels uncertain, messy, or out of control, God is not overwhelmed by it.

He is present. He is working. And He is still bringing light into dark places. 🙌
