At Celebration Community Church we believe God reveals His will to us through His Word. It is the highest authority for what we believe and practice. Our faith is clarified and nourished by meditating on Scripture. It is not just true but truth itself.

What a meaningful weekend we had at Celebration Community Church!

We gathered for coffee and connections in the Square, worshiped together through song, shared communion, and heard from Pastor Gregg in Matthew 27 and reflected on the death and burial of Christ. It's only Friday but Sunday is coming!

We also had the joy of introducing and confirming our second round of deacons. We’re grateful for these men and women who have been called and equipped to serve Christ and His church.

We praise God for His grace, His Word, and the privilege of gathering as His people.

Death is the just sentence sin has earned. That judgment must fall somewhere. The gospel is that it falls on Jesus instead of us.

Proverbs 4:23 urges us above everything else we do, to tend to our hearts because they affect all other aspects of our lives. Our personal sense of God’s peace, the assurance that we are indeed saved, and the fresh fruitfulness displayed by our lives are all indicators of the condition of our hearts.

"For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them." - Ephesians 2:8-10

Jesus is bleeding out as He is hanging by nails on that cross, as payment for your sins and mine. Jesus is saving us from the holy wrath of God as a consequence for our sin.
This is the good news of the Gospel! Christ died for our sins and was raised on the third day. How big a deal is this—Jesus, the God-Man, dying as payment for our sins
to deliver us from the wrath to come? Apart from Christ and what Christ does, there is no hope to survive the wrath to come. And the reality of this wrath...is what makes the love and glory of our Savior on this cross so breathtaking and beautiful.
