June 20, 2026 - “Forged Community” - Elder Gordon Adams

Join us this Sabbath at Celebration SDA Church for a special worship experience as we reflect on freedom, fatherhood, and the transforming power of the gospel.

Our 11:00 AM Worship Service, entitled “Juneteenth, Father's Day & The Gospel,” will be presented by our beloved Elder Gordon Adams. Drawing from Romans 8:14-15, we will explore the beautiful truth that those who are led by the Spirit of God are His children and have received the Spirit of adoption, allowing us to cry, “Abba, Father.”

This special message will connect the themes of Juneteenth and Father's Day with the gospel of Jesus Christ. Just as Juneteenth celebrates freedom from physical bo***ge, the gospel proclaims our freedom from the bo***ge of sin. And just as Father's Day reminds us of the importance of earthly fathers, Romans 8 points us to our Heavenly Father, who has adopted us into His family through Christ. Through the gospel, we are no longer slaves to fear but sons and daughters of God, called to live in freedom, hope, and the assurance of His love.

Our Sabbath School lesson, “Share Him,” begins at 10:00 AM. This week's lesson reminds us that we never know how our actions, words, and witness can impact others. As believers, every act of kindness, every testimony, and every opportunity to share Christ can lead someone closer to Him.

We warmly invite you, your family, and your friends to join us for this meaningful Sabbath celebration.

Memory Text: “The Lord GOD has given Me the tongue of the learned, that I should know how to speak a word in season to him who is weary. He awakens Me morning by morning, He awakens My ear to hear as the learned” (Isaiah 50:4, NKJV).

It was a busy Sabbath morning for Pastor G. He had awakened early, preparing for both Sabbath School and the sermon, and he was also leading an evangelistic series in the afternoon. He grabbed his keys, ran out the door, and sped away.

He drove through the city traffic, annoyed that so many people were out on a Saturday morning and could make him late for church. Where were they all going? Then, out of nowhere, one car cut in front of him. He slammed on the brakes and held up his fist in frustration and anger, yelling at the driver.

Finally, Pastor G arrived at the church. As he stood up to teach the lesson, his eyes scanned his class and came to rest on a familiar face: the driver of the car he was angry at just 20 minutes earlier.

Later, when a church member introduced the driver as a non-Adventist who was visiting relatives, Pastor G realized once again how every interaction, to both acquaintances and strangers, should be bathed in love that flows from an abiding relationship with God. You never know how your actions, especially as a believer, can impact others.

Memory Text: “And not only that, but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance; and perseverance, character; and character, hope. Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us” (Romans 5:3-5, NKJV).

One evening, as the sun dipped over the horizon, a girl was walking home when a dark storm blew in. She quickened her pace, knowing there was still a way to go. A lone raindrop fell on her cheek, then another, and, before she knew it, she was drenched. She started to run until she flung open the door of her home, her father rushing toward her from the front window. As he wrapped a blanket around her shoulders, he asked her, “I saw you just now, in the rain. Why, with every bolt of lightning, did you stop running to look up and smile?” “Oh, I stopped to look up,” she said, “because God was taking my picture!”

What is our response when the storms of life come or when we have certain setbacks in our relationship with God? Do we put our head down as the rain pelts upon our backs or do we look up, knowing and trusting that God is there as we turn our face toward Him?

This week, we’ll explore some responses we often have when life is challenging. We’ll consider how we might use life’s setbacks to strengthen, not weaken, our most important relationship.

June 13, 2026 - “Forged Community” - Pastor Kevin Robert

Join us this Sabbath at Celebration SDA Church for an inspiring day of worship and fellowship!

Our 11:00 AM Worship Service is entitled “Forged Community”, part of the Movement-UM series, presented by our beloved Pastor Kevin Robert. Based on Hebrews 12:1-2, this message will remind us to lay aside the things that hinder our faith, run with endurance, and keep our eyes fixed on Jesus. Pastor Robert will explore how true community is forged when we step beyond our comfort zones and engage in God's mission. The church discovers its purpose when believers rally together, serve others, and simply begin by “crossing the street” to share Christ's love with their neighbors.

Our Sabbath School lesson, “Setbacks,” begins at 10:00 AM. Together, we'll explore how life's challenges and disappointments can strengthen, rather than weaken, our relationship with God and deepen our trust in Him.

We invite you, your family, and your friends to join us for this special Sabbath experience!

June 6, 2026 - “Peacemaking in the Age of Rage” - Pastor Des Cu***ngs
Join us this Sabbath at Celebration SDA Church for a meaningful day of worship, fellowship, and spiritual renewal.

Our 11:00 AM Worship Service, entitled “Peacemaking in the Age of Rage,” will be presented by our beloved Pastor Des Cu***ng. In a world increasingly marked by division, conflict, anger, and uncertainty, God calls His people to be agents of peace.

Drawing from Matthew 5:9, “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God,” Pastor Cu***ng will explore what it means to reflect the character of Christ by bringing peace into our homes, churches, communities, and relationships. Peacemaking is more than avoiding conflict, it is actively participating in God's work of reconciliation and restoration.

The message will also examine Psalms 4:4-5, which reminds us, “Be angry, and do not sin.” Through these verses, we will discover how the Bible teaches us to respond to anger in a godly way, surrender our frustrations to God, and place our trust in Him rather than allowing rage to control our actions. As followers of Christ, we are called to stand apart from the spirit of contention that often surrounds us and instead become ambassadors of God's peace and grace.

During Sabbath School, we will study the lesson entitled “Repentance and Forgiveness.” Throughout the week, we have been reminded of the wonderful truth that although we all fall short and sin, God's plan of salvation provides hope, restoration, and forgiveness. Through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross, every sincere and repentant sinner can receive God's mercy and experience a renewed relationship with Him. This lesson will encourage us to embrace genuine repentance and rejoice in the assurance of God's forgiveness.

We warmly invite you, your family, and your friends to join us for this special Sabbath experience as we worship together, study God's Word, and grow in His grace.

June 6, 2026 - "Repentance and Forgiveness" - Sabbath School

Memory Text: “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness” (1 John 1:9, NKJV).

The Promised Land seemed so far away to the Israelites, who camped beneath the pillar of cloud on the plain. Moses had ascended into the thick darkness, which had covered the top of the mountain many days earlier. Surely their leader had died by now, they reasoned, if not from starvation then perhaps from the consuming fire on its peak. The mixed multitude (the Israelites along with those who left Egypt with them on the Exodus) among them felt restless and impatient, ready to move on to the land flowing with milk and honey. Although these same people had, just a few days earlier, made a solemn covenant with God to obey Him, they wanted an image they could see. And so, they rallied around Aaron’s tent and demanded that he create an idol for them. Fearing for his own safety, Aaron agreed. In Exodus 32-34, we read how this sad story unravels.

This account is just one story from Scripture that teaches us about repentance and forgiveness, the theme of this week’s lesson study. Keep the theme of this week’s memory verse in your mind as you go through each day’s study. Yes, we sin, but thanks to Jesus’ death on the cross and the plan of salvation, forgiveness is there for the sincere confessing and repentant sinner.

05/30/2026

Memory Text: “I will never forget Your precepts, for by them You have given me life. I am Yours, save me; for I have sought Your precepts” (Psalm 119:93-94, NKJV).

Without a doubt, sin is the greatest obstructor to a close relationship with God. Not only does sin separate us from God now (Isa. 59:2), but it also deceives, hurts, consumes, and eventually destroys us. Our battle against sin and self is the greatest battle we’ll ever face, with tremendous, even eternal, implications.

Some dismiss sin as just a regular part of life. After all, it’s human nature to indulge in pleasure. But do we make light of sin because society has become so comfortable with it? We can tiptoe around the topic of sin, afraid that we’ll offend someone if we call it what it is, but in the end, the more we choose to live comfortably with it, the further we’ll slip from a healthy relationship with God.

Yes, every person has sinned, and our thoughts, motives, actions, and words hurt others, ourselves, and God. Ultimately, sin destroys our relationship with God, but God has revealed Himself to us through the knowledge of His law, which shines light on the sin in our lives.

This week let’s explore the reason God gave us His law and, when someone transgresses God’s law and consequently sins, what or who can help to restore their relationship with God.

May 30, 2026 - “Organic systems” - Pastor Kevin Robert
Join us this Sabbath at Celebration SDA Church for an inspiring day of worship, fellowship, and spiritual growth.

Our 11:00 AM Worship Service is entitled “Organic System”, the fifth message in this powerful series, presented by our beloved Pastor Kevin Robert. Drawing from Genesis 1:28, Pastor Robert will explore God's original design for His people to flourish, multiply, and carry out His mission together.

Just as a healthy body functions because every part understands its role, God's church thrives when every member embraces the mission. In a healthy body, the heart beats, the lungs breathe, and every organ works in harmony without constant direction. Likewise, in a healthy church, ministry does not depend solely on a pastor or church leader. Every believer is called to participate, serve, and advance God's kingdom. When each member understands their God-given purpose, the church becomes a living, growing, and self-sustaining movement where ministry continues even when leadership is not present.

This message will challenge and encourage us to see ourselves not merely as attendees, but as active participants in God's mission, using our gifts and influence to strengthen the body of Christ and reach our community for His glory.

During Sabbath School, we will study the lesson entitled “Sin, the Gospel, and the Law.” Together, we will explore why God gave His law, the consequences of transgressing it, and the wonderful hope found in the gospel. We will discover how God restores broken relationships through Jesus Christ and why His grace remains the answer to humanity's greatest need.

We warmly invite you, your family, and your friends to join us for this special Sabbath experience.
