Last weekend I was pondering this scripture and have been pondering it all week:

John 5: 39-40..."You have your heads in your Bibles constantly because you think you’ll find eternal life there. But you miss the forest for the trees. These Scriptures are all about me! And here I am, standing right before you, and you aren’t willing to receive from me the life you say you want.

So many times we do the "Christian" things but don't follow through with our lives. We can talk a good talk about all we have read in the word, all the "good" things we have done and totally miss it. All the beautifully written posts that sound as if written by the apostle Paul, and still act like drama queens and (excuse me)...jerks. 😁

I want to be a living gospel. I want people to fall in love with the Lover of my soul. I want the Holy Spirit to have control of my tongue and whole life. Create in me a clean heart, oh God!!!!

Honestly, help me Lord!!!!

We had a wonderful family breakfast this morning before enjoying the Cedarville Parade together...it was a great time of family, fellowship and friends.

One of the things I love best about our little church is the diversity. We are a multi-cultural, multi-generational, bi-lingual body. The Lord brought us together and it only gets better and better. Together we seek the Presence of the Lord at a deeper level each week. We want to represent Jesus in our community.

The Ignite Minister Training School in Lakeview is bringing minister to share this Sunday, July 26 to Rivers of Living Water in Cedarville. Plan to be there and get a huge blessing! 10 am!
