Hello, my name is Bryce Klaseen. As many of you know our youth pastor Dan Neil stepped down to pursue other areas of ministry. We have been going through a transitional period with the youth group. Lance Rosten and I have stepped up to fill the role as youth leaders until or when that position is filled by a youth pastor. We have had to change a few things but at the core were the same as before. We now meet at 5 pm every other Sunday. That may change in the future, but for now that’s what works best for everyone. We are highly encouraging parents to be involved as well. We are serving a meal for each youth group and would always take some volunteers to help prepare food or make a meal for the kids.
With Christmas and new years right around the corner and all the things that take place during the month of December, we have decided to meet one time in December. We are meeting December 17th for a youth Christmas party at 5 pm. Not sure exactly what will take place but will update as we figure that out.
We will resume a regular schedule of every other week starting January 7th.
Youth camp- this is a big one folks. I need to have a decent head count by Christmas. My deadline for reserving spots is January 1. There are 4 youth camps and we need to pick one that works best for everyone. I will get dates shortly for each. I will need to know which camp works best for everyone so I can get spots reserved. Also, if someone wants to sponsor kids for youth camp let us know. We have kids that would appreciate that very much.
