situated atop the Grand Mesa, one of the world’s largest flat top mountains, in the Grand Mesa National Forest, which encompasses 346,000 acres, 300 lakes and cool green slopes carpeted with aspen and spruce trees. Offering spectacular scenery on the “western slope” of the Rockies, it is noted for natural features, abundant wildlife and a great variety of outdoor recreation. Located in western Colorado, it is near Grand Junction and Delta, along the national Grand Mesa Scenic Byway Route 65. Campers often remark how the mountain top location helps them feel closer to the Lord. The Camp welcomes those who are curious about Christianity, and those on their journey seeking to live more fully as Christians in today’s world.
