Let 2017 become your year to become a member of Free Women In Christ. It is a decision. you will not regret. FWIC is tbe only organization that brings women of different ages, worship experiences, ethnicities (Primarily African American, but not exclusively) and gifts together to grow in God's Word, discover and develop spiritual gifts, minister to one another, evangelize, worship, pray and serve together. An opportunity to be united with Sisters from eight other chapters across the US, a meet them weekly in a prayerline and convene annually.

Conference '16 is just around the corner!!! Oct. 19-23 in Virginia Beach, VA. The Theme: "My Word...Signed, Sealed, and Delivered"

Wednesday is a new addltion-this is dedigned to be a night of fun and fellowship. We will be emtertsined with a variety show, showcasing the talent of tbe sisterhood. Sis. Marylin Jenkins, Cedar Rapids Chapter, is Coordinator.

Sis. Truitt has planned a stimulating curriculum of workshops. More info to come.

On December 22, 2015 our Mother Mary E. Coates will celebrate her 90th birthday. This Woman of God has been a blessing to the Cedar Rapids Community. Many got the fundamental Bible knowledge/understanding around her table, many were fed, clothed and given financial assistance through Seaside Lighthouse Assos., the ministry she ran well into her 80s, she has been a supported of local churches and ministries. She is one of the founding members of our chapter. Let's show love by sending her a birthday card (physical card, with a stamp and all) to 1801 14th Street SE, Cedar Rapids 52401. Would be great if she got 90 cards.
