Hey saints! If any of you are wanting some spiritual encouragement this morning, here is a message on the Power of the name of Jesus that my father preached. He passed away 5 years ago after 60 years of incredible missionary work in Zimbabwe. I have decided to keep my prepared message that coincides with our fasting though February for when we are all together. Stay warm and God Bless.

Due to the winter storm and icy weather, we have decided to cancel service this Sunday, January 25th. Your safety is our priority. After much prayer and consideration we believe this is the wisest choice for everyone. Please stay safe and warm! We will see you next Sunday, Feb 1st at 10 am!

Acts 10:38 says, “God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and power, and how he went around doing good and healing all who were under the power of the devil, because God was with him.”

This is the main reason Jesus wanted the Disciples to be filled with the Holy Spirit.

Acts 1:4 “Do not leave Jerusalem, but wait for the gift my Father promised, which you have heard me speak about... 8 But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”

Almost immediately after the disciples or believers were filled there was a demonstration of how the power of the Holy Spirit as he enabled them to proclaim the word of God boldly or to perform miracles or to be used in the supernatural giftings that comes with the anointing of the Holy Spirit.

When it comes to being filled with the Holy Spirit, there is nothing to fear or be concerned about because it is a good thing and a necessary thing. Because we don’t war against flesh and blood but against the rulers, authorities, and cosmic powers over this present darkness.

WE SHOULD DESIRE the filling of the Holy Spirit and His power!

Oh what fun we had at our first ever Ladies Christmas Tea! 🎄There were plenty of sweet treats, laughs, and the beautiful truth shared by our one and only, Pastor Rhetta. Thank you to all the ladies who joined us for a festive and beautiful afternoon. And a special thank you to all of the ladies that helped put this event together. We are already looking forward to next year’s! Merry Christmas! 🤍

A Big “Thank You” to those who have already signed up! LHC you are amazing at being the body of Christ and helping to meet the needs of others! We love and appreciate you all!
