What a beautiful Vespers. Today we celebrated Saint Mary’s FIRST Feast Day in our NEW church building, and our hearts are full of gratitude. Thank you to all the priests, deacons, families and friends who came to pray, celebrate, and share this special day with us.

A very special thank you to everyone who cooked, prepared, served, cleaned, organized, and volunteered throughout the event Saint Mary Romanian Orthodox Church - Austin, TX.

Tomorrow, TUESDAY, we continue the celebration!
9:00 AM - Matins.
10:00 AM - Divine Liturgy.
11:30 AM - Lunch.

- This Sunday after Divine Liturgy.

You can also place an order for a loaf of sourdough bread to pick up next Sunday. Just let us know what you’d like, and we’ll be happy to help.

For some children, the first step toward school is simply having a good pair of shoes.

This year, Saint Mary Romanian Orthodox Church - Austin, TX is joining Glasul Vieții and Preot Dan Damaschin to help children in Romania start school with shoes, clothes, backpacks, and the essentials they need.

No child should start school feeling left behind. Scan the QR code and help us change that. A small donation can change a child's future. Be part of it!

We are deeply grateful to Father Peter Heers for being with us at Saint Mary Romanian Orthodox Church - Austin, TX.

A few things we are taking home from tonight’s conference:
- "Keep the Lord always before you. Without Him, there can be no true spiritual progress."
- "Our children learn faith first by watching us. We may not need to say a word. They see how we pray, how we react, where we find peace, and what place God truly has in our lives. We are their first example."
- "Our biggest enemy is the ease and the comfort of our life. Comfort ruins you."
- "There is almost nothing more precious than time. Use it wisely."

Thank you to everyone who joined us tonight. May what we heard become something we carry into our homes and into our everyday lives.
