Hare Krishna, everyone,
Some evenings a community remembers for a generation, and ๐ฆ๐ฒ๐ฝ๐๐ฒ๐บ๐ฏ๐ฒ๐ฟ ๐ฐ ๐๐ฎ๐ ๐ผ๐ป๐ฒ ๐ผ๐ณ ๐๐ต๐ฒ๐บ.
More than ๐ฐ,๐ฒ๐ฌ๐ฌ ๐ฝ๐ฒ๐ผ๐ฝ๐น๐ฒ came to the Hare Krishna Temple of Austin / ISKCON of Cedar Park, many stepping into our new temple for the very first time, to receive the darshan of ๐ฆ๐ฟ๐ถ ๐ฆ๐ฟ๐ถ ๐ฅ๐ฎ๐ฑ๐ต๐ฎ ๐๐ฟ๐ถ๐๐ต๐ป๐ฎ and celebrate the divine appearance of ๐๐ผ๐ฟ๐ฑ ๐ฆ๐ฟ๐ถ ๐๐ฟ๐ถ๐๐ต๐ป๐ฎ.
The Holy Names filled every corner of the temple that night. Long past midnight, the temple room was still filled with devotees who had waited to greet the Lord at the sacred hour of His appearance. Prasadam was served with care to every guest, and ๐ฆ๐ฟ๐ถ๐น๐ฎ ๐ฃ๐ฟ๐ฎ๐ฏ๐ต๐๐ฝ๐ฎ๐ฑ๐ฎโ๐ ๐ฏ๐ผ๐ผ๐ธ๐ found their way into many new homes.
๐ง๐ผ ๐ฒ๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐๐ผ๐ป๐ฒ ๐๐ต๐ผ ๐ฐ๐ฎ๐บ๐ฒ, ๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐๐ฒ๐ฑ, ๐๐๐ฝ๐ฝ๐ผ๐ฟ๐๐ฒ๐ฑ, ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ ๐๐๐ฎ๐๐ฒ๐ฑ ๐๐ถ๐๐ต ๐๐ ๐๐ต๐ฟ๐ผ๐๐ด๐ต ๐๐ต๐ถ๐ ๐ฏ๐ฒ๐ฎ๐๐๐ถ๐ณ๐๐น ๐ฐ๐ฒ๐น๐ฒ๐ฏ๐ฟ๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป, ๐๐ต๐ฎ๐ป๐ธ ๐๐ผ๐. ๐ฌ๐ผ๐ ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ฒ ๐๐ต๐ฎ๐ ๐บ๐ฎ๐ฑ๐ฒ ๐๐ต๐ถ๐ ๐๐ฎ๐ป๐บ๐ฎ๐๐ต๐๐ฎ๐บ๐ถ ๐๐ผ ๐๐ฝ๐ฒ๐ฐ๐ถ๐ฎ๐น.
We were especially honored to welcome ๐๐ฒ๐ฑ๐ฎ๐ฟ ๐ฃ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ธ ๐ ๐ฎ๐๐ผ๐ฟ ๐๐ถ๐บ ๐ฃ๐ฒ๐ป๐ป๐ถ๐บ๐ฎ๐ป-๐ ๐ผ๐ฟ๐ถ๐ป, ๐ฆ๐ต๐๐ฒ๐๐ฎ ๐ฃ๐ฎ๐ฑ๐บ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฎ๐ฏ๐ต๐ฎ, ๐๐ต๐ถ๐๐ฟ๐ฎ ๐ก๐ฒ๐ฑ๐๐ป, ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ ๐ ๐ฎ๐๐ ๐ฃ๐ถ๐๐ฐ๐ต๐ฒ๐ฟ as our distinguished guests. Their presence honored the years of effort our devotees have put into building this temple, and we are grateful for the support our congregation and its spiritual, cultural, and educational programs have received from the greater community.
A festival of this scale is never the work of a few. Our deepest gratitude goes to the ๐ฑ๐ผ๐ป๐ผ๐ฟ๐ ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ ๐๐ฒ๐น๐น-๐๐ถ๐๐ต๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ whose generosity helped build this temple, and to the countless ๐๐ผ๐น๐๐ป๐๐ฒ๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ who cooked, decorated, welcomed guests, directed traffic, served prasadam, cleaned, organized, and performed so many other services throughout the night.
Whether your service was visible or unseen, ๐๐ฟ๐ถ๐๐ต๐ป๐ฎ ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ ๐ฅ๐ฎ๐ฑ๐ต๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ฎ๐ป๐ถ ๐๐ฒ๐ฒ ๐ฒ๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ ๐๐ถ๐ป๐ฐ๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ฒ ๐ฒ๐ณ๐ณ๐ผ๐ฟ๐ ๐ผ๐ณ๐ณ๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ฑ ๐ถ๐ป ๐ง๐ต๐ฒ๐ถ๐ฟ ๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐๐ถ๐ฐ๐ฒ. What unfolded that night was truly one collective offering at the lotus feet of our beloved Deities, ๐ฆ๐ฟ๐ถ๐น๐ฎ ๐ฃ๐ฟ๐ฎ๐ฏ๐ต๐๐ฝ๐ฎ๐ฑ๐ฎ ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ ๐ผ๐๐ฟ ๐๐๐ฟ๐ ๐ฃ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ฎ๐บ๐ฝ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ฎ.

This temple belongs to ๐ฆ๐ฟ๐ถ ๐ฆ๐ฟ๐ถ ๐ฅ๐ฎ๐ฑ๐ต๐ฎ ๐๐ฟ๐ถ๐๐ต๐ป๐ฎ ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ ๐ฆ๐ฟ๐ถ๐น๐ฎ ๐ฃ๐ฟ๐ฎ๐ฏ๐ต๐๐ฝ๐ฎ๐ฑ๐ฎ, and our service is to make it a living center of Krishna consciousness: a place where children grow with spiritual values, families find strength and Vaishnava association, and thousands throughout greater Austin can receive Krishnaโs mercy for generations to come.
Let us fill this temple with the constant chanting of ๐๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ฒ ๐๐ฟ๐ถ๐๐ต๐ป๐ฎ, genuine care for one another, and the humble mood of being ๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐๐ฎ๐ป๐๐ ๐ผ๐ณ ๐๐ต๐ฒ ๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐๐ฎ๐ป๐๐.
