Then he said to them, “Go your way. Eat the fat and drink sweet wine and send portions to anyone who has nothing ready, for this day is holy to our Lord. And do not be grieved, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.” (Nehemiah 8:10 NKJV)

Our dear Heavenly Father ~ we boldly enter your magnificent presence as we observe the dawning of another new day. Bless all sincere followers of Christ with a sense of joy and renewed strength, as we put our trust in Christ who paid the price for our salvation. Because of this great love, and the fact that we sinners are unable to offer ourselves as an acceptable sacrifice for another person or persons. Bless the courageous efforts of our close associates who labor to perform acts of kindness with the joy of our Lord for spreading the gospel of peace and love to Ukraine. In the precious name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Most holy Father who is in Heaven ~ thank you for the precious gift of life that originates from your creative power and love for your creatures. Help all people professing to be followers of Christ to reject the tendency to set up power centers on earth instead of relying on the authority our Lord Jesus Christ upon whom you gave all power in heaven and earth. 8 Owe no one anything except to love one another, for he who loves another has fulfilled the law. 9 For the commandments, “You shall not commit adultery,” “You shall not murder,” “You shall not steal,” “You shall not bear false witness,” “You shall not covet,” and if there is any other commandment, are all summed up in this saying, namely, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” 10 Love does no harm to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfillment of the law. Heavenly Father ~ we enter your gates with thanksgiving on our hearts as we consider the great sacrificial love that was demonstrated as your beloved Son allowed His creatures to rudely and loudly mock our blessed Savior as they murdered Jesus on a cruel cross reserved for criminals. Restore a spirit of love among all faithful believers in Christ so that the world will not accuse us of hypocrisy and refuse to hear us when we tell about our love for our blessed Savior. In the precious Name of Jesus we pray, Amen.

Thank you for revealing your will for all people in a written form inspired by the Holy Spirit, so that all people may study and learn more of your one plan of salvation for all people. Our Father in Heaven ~ we come into your glorious presence on this new day that dawns with sparkling fresh evidence of your love for all creation. Grant extra wisdom to those who are sending Gospel preachers to the far corners of the world. Bless the bold efforts of those who proclaim the truth revealed in the Spirit inspired Scriptures. Protect those newborn babes in Christ who must learn to set good examples for others who are just now learning about being born by the blood of Jesus as they obey the Gospel. In Christ’s name we pray, Amen.

Our Father in Heaven ~ thank you Lord, for giving your people the precious Holy Scriptures that are able to make us wise regarding salvation and the life we live now in our bodies of flesh and bone. Give us wisdom from the teachings and examples of Christ that teach us to know when it is proper to rejoice and when we should weep with those who weep. In Jesus name we pray, Amen.
