Sadly, my Dad passed away a few days ago. Even though he had been sick for a few months, it was still very unexpected. We thought we had at least a few more years with him.

This is my favorite picture of us together because no one could make me laugh harder than him!

Sadly, today marks the end of our mission trip to Rovira, Panama. In the last 6 days, we ministered to over 500 kids in 3 public schools, we preached at 2 church services, we planted 1,500 trees (seeds), we visited locals in their homes, we did street evangelism in the touristy towns and local businesses, and we brainstormed with a small group of locals on how to eliminate the next stage of poverty in their community.

My daughter even learned a Panamanian dance with her friend Addy and got to perform it with a group of local girls in a public gym.

We saw 50+ locals give their lives to Jesus, and we partnered with the locals pastors to help disciple them going forward.

Thank you again to everyone who played a part in making this trip happen (prayer and financial partners).

Our team works hard, and we play hard. And nothing says play hard like a family incentive trip to Branson, MO.

We hiked, fished, played golf, swam, went to see “The David Show” (awesome), had dinner on a steamboat, ate s’mores around the fire, told funny stories, and had lots of good food!

Maybe this will become a yearly tradition?!!
