“Exalt the Lord our God; worship at His footstool! Holy is He!”

God is worthy of our praise and worship! Each Sunday, we gather, not out of obligation or even as if we could be saved. Instead, we gather because He deserves it all! We sing, we worship, we glorify Him because He is worthy. Monday, Aug. 31, we have The Gathering Room that will kick off our semester as a Worship Ministry. If you serve or are interested in serving in the choir or on the worship team, this night is for you but we need you to register!

Following Jesus is transformational! It’s not because of how you grew up, where you grew up, or anything you can do. Life change brings a new identity. John‬ ‭3‬:‭3‬ Jesus answered him, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God.”

What is our identity? Who does the Bible say we are? Who does God say we are? We start our new sermon series this Sunday and get back into the fall rhythms! Come ready to sing loudly to our Savior, study God’s Word together, & seek Him in prayer.

On Wednesday night, the 19, we have our Kickoff Night. MDWK Kids & Student start back and all adults can then find out about Wednesday night opportunities for the fall. Kids & Students start at 6pm and the Foyer will be open for adults!

VBS is for kids who have completed kindergarten through the 6th grade. It’s from Monday to Friday (July 13-17) from 9am-12pm. Comment “VBS” and we’ll send you a link to register your kiddo!

Today, we remember and observe that on this day in 1865 after over two years since the passing of the Emancipation Proclamation soldiers landed in Galveston, TX to proclaim to those enslaved that they were free! It’s a day of high significance that reminds us of the freedom found in Christ. For freedom, Christ has set us free (Galatians 5:1). As followers of Christ, we now can declare the freedom that is available.
