We are “gearing up” for SHOE BOX PACKING!!
Friendship will be packing 500 boxes cooperatively as a church.
Thank you to all who have been bringing items and donating money to buy items throughout the year! We are excited that our 5,000 in shipping costs has already been covered!!
This is a list of supplies that are still needed:
63 washcloths, 145 notebooks, 52 eight inch scissors/57 five inch scissors, 213 pink erasers, 1200 pencil top erasers
We do still need quality filler items. Perhaps you can donate some of these:
Hot Wheel style cars, Monster Trucks, Small Musical Instruments, flip flops, hair ties/bows/clips, bracelets for the girls, bouncy balls (Old Navy has great ones and most stores will sell by the bag.)
If you are able to help unwrap items from packaging, please let Missy know.
Sept 20 (Sunday)-OCC prep day- after church
Please bring a lunch and stay to help put together
pencil packs and rubber band soccer balls.
October 17 (Saturday) -all church packing party
Please bring a lunch that day. Missy will be asking for help during the week prior to put together the boxes. Please let her know if you can help and what days.
