From Pastor Steve Petry: The verse below became my motivation when I became a Pastor in 1983,
“But my life is worth nothing to me unless I use it for finishing the work assigned me by the Lord Jesus—the work of telling others the Good News about the wonderful grace of God.” Acts 20:24
Yesterday I finished 40 years of Pastoral Ministry preaching and teaching the transforming power of Gods grace and mercy. It would have never happened without the love and support of my precious wife Betsy.
My last 5 years were spent with the growing in grace people at First Evangelical Presbyterian Church in Cedar Grove. Yesterday the church also concluded 175 years as a Gospel believing church leaving a large footprint of grace and fruitful ministry to the people of Sheboygan County and beyond. Our theme yesterday was “To God Be the Glory Great Things He Has Done”.
